On 4 Jul 09 Deputy Sheriff Travaglio issued
a citation to William B. Todd, age 42, 10602 Dozer Road SW,
Stoutsville, OH, for a stop light violation. Deputy Travaglio
stopped Mr. Todd after he failed to stop at the red light at
Farson Street and US 50 in Belpre Township.
On 4 Jul 09 Fred B. Cook, age 52, 2870 Sealy
Ridge Road, Vincent, reported sometime during the past three
months an unknown suspect(s) cut the lock off a storage building
he owns on property at 1203 Sealy Ridge Road and stole a riding
lawn mower, a chainsaw, an air compressor, a generator and
two toolboxes. This case remains under investigation (610).
On 4 Jul 09 Jamie Warden, age 31, 5085 Whipple
Run Road, Whipple, reported she and her husband were involved
in an argument while the couple and their two children traveled
home from having breakfast at 5:00 am. Upset that her husband
could not buy her cigarettes after he spent money to buy beer
for himself, the argument ensued after the two attended a cookout
that lasted until the couple went to breakfast. Interviewing
the involved parties, Sgt. Johnson and Deputy Sheriff Mankins
determined no act of domestic violence occurred. In fact, the
Deputies determined Mrs. Warden instigated the argument and
later accidentally struck her husband.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
William David Lewis, age 49, 613 Wayne Street, Marietta, for
disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Lewis was
arrested on Greene Street by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 4 Jul 09 at 2:04 am.
Kyle Robert Wince, age 20, 503 Parmaco Street, Parkersburg,
for .08 breath OVI, for operating a vehicle with an expired
license, for endangering children and for speeding, all misdemeanors.
Wince was arrested on Washington Boulevard in Belpre by the
Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 4 Jul 09 at 5:25 pm.
Scott David Yeager, age 33, 45 Green Meadows Drive Apt. 27,
Parkersburg, for a felony charge of receiving stolen property
and for a misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle without
a license. Yeager was arrested on State Route 7 in Belpre by
the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 4 Jul 09 at 10:40 pm.
