On 24 Jun 09 an employee of the Washington
County Council on Aging, 344 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, turned
in three garbage bags containing shredded prescription medications
that the organization collected. The property is being held
for safekeeping and eventual destruction (592).
On 24 Jun 09 Dixie M. Ingold, age 49, 101
Evans Street Apt. 21, New Matamoras, reported she has a strained
relationship with her boyfriend, Daniel Montgomery, age 57,
6805 Shay Ridge Road, New Matamoras, and that Mr. Montgomery
assaulted her while he visited her apartment the previous evening.
Ms. Ingold stated Mr. Montgomery was irate, swearing and pushed
her as she tried walking past him down a hallway. Ms. Ingold
also commented that Mr. Montgomery grabbed her, causing bruises
to appear on her left elbow, right arm and right leg. In fear
for her safety, Ms. Ingold said she would seek a protection
order against Mr. Montgomery. As a result of the incident,
Deputy Sheriff Mankins requested a warrant for Mr. Montgomery
for assault.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Karolyn Diana Morris, age 45, 14813 State
Route 26, Reno, a fugitive from justice, a felony. Morris was
arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 24 Jun 09 at 10:12 am.
John Wayne Luke, age 48, 717 Quarry Street, Marietta, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines,
a misdemeanor. Luke was arrested at his residence by Patrolman
Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 24 Jun 09 at 11:54 am.
Justin Kyle Tewkesbury, age 21, 521 Barclay Street Apt. 15,
Belpre, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on
unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Tewkesbury turned himself in to
Patrolman Wenzel at the Marietta City Police Department and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Jun 09 at 4:45
pm.
Angela Dianne Carpenter, age 42, 454 Happy Valley Road, Parkersburg,
for operating a vehicle without a license, a misdemeanor. Carpenter
was arrested on State Route 60 near Walnut Street in Lowell
by Patrolman Rhodes of the Lowell Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 24 Jun 09 at 10:59 pm.
