On 21 Jun 09 Detective Parks arrested Krista J. Ratliff, age 33, Route 16 Box 231, Ellenboro, WV, for driving under a suspended license. Stopping Ms. Ratliff for weaving left of the center line on State Route 7 near Newells Run Road, Detective Parks discovered Ms. Ratliff’s driver’s license was under and FRA suspension as well as a suspension for having unpaid fines.

On 21 Jun 09 Deputy Sheriff Mankins arrested Anthony L. Hanes, age 32, 13550 County Nine Road, New Matamoras, for driving under a suspended license and for operating a vehicle with an expired registration. Deputy Mankins stopped Mr. Hanes near milepost two on State Route 260 for having one functioning headlight when he learned Mr. Hanes’ license was under a non-compliance suspension.

On 21 Jun 09 the Little Hocking Fire Department transported a fifty-seven year old Belpre resident to Saint Joseph’s Hospital following an overdose of prescription medication. Voluntarily transported for treatment and evaluation, the victim said she ingested an overdose of several medications to get the attention of her husband.

On 21 Jun 09 Deputy Sheriff Mankins attempted to serve a termination of a protection order at 451 Eyermann Road, Marietta, when he was greeted angrily by Eugene S. Lowe, age 54. Mr. Lowe, the father of the individual who Deputy Mankins sought, began immediately cursing and refused repeated requests to cease his behavior. When Mr. Lowe failed to so Deputy Mankins arrested him for disorderly conduct and transported him to the Washington County Jail. At the jail Mr. Lowe apologized, saying he was having a bad day.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Krista Jeneane Ratliff, age 33, Route 16 Box 231, Ellenboro, WV, for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Ratliff was arrested on State Route 7 near Newells Run Road by Detective Parks of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Jun 09 at 1:00 am.

Brandt Lynn Gainer, age 19, 63 Parker Avenue, Newark, OH, for operating a vehicle with an expired license and for having fictitious plates, both misdemeanors. Gainer was arrested near milepost fifty-one on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Jun 09 at 2:10 am.

Shauna Marie Bigley, age 32, 7765 Dalzell Road, Lower Salem, for menacing, a misdemeanor. Bigley turned himself in to Deputy Sheriff Lockhart and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Jun 09 at 12:00 pm.

Eugene Shirley Lowe, age 54, 451 Eyermann Road, Belpre, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Lowe was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Lockhart and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Jun 09 at 5:45 pm.

Ashanti Rosehill Johnson, age 21, 227 Stout Street, Harrisville, WV, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Johnson turned himself in to Deputy Sheriff Mankins and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Jun 09 at 6:25 pm.
