On 19 Jun 09 Deputy Sheriff Reynolds requested a warrant for Christopher R. Ledger, age 18, 7010 State Route 550, Cutler, for burglary. Mr. Ledger allegedly entered and ransacked a residence at 168 State Route 339, Belpre, on 11 May 09. Deputy Reynolds’ affidavit alleges Mr. Ledger stole $3,800 worth of property from the residence including, a flat screen television, a computer and an Xbox 360.

On 19 Jun 09 Deputy Sheriff Simmons responded to the scene of death of an eighty-two year old Whipple resident. The man’s death appears to be due to natural causes; no foul play is suspected.

On 19 Jun 09 Christine Theis, age 44, 313 Fourth Street, Beverly, reported at some point between 8:30 on 18 Jun and 12:45 pm on 19 Jun an unknown suspect(s) broke two windows of her father’s antique shop at 49 Davis Road, Watertown, and one window at her father’s residence across the street from the shop. This case remains under investigation (790).

On 19 Jun 09 Lt. Wilson issued a citation to Tammie B. Miskimens, age 40, 625 Bender Road, Marietta, for traveling 70 mph in a 55 mph zone. Lt. Wilson stopped Ms. Miskimens on State Route 7 near Bramblewood Heights Road in Marietta Township.

On 19 Jun 09 Willis W. Nibert, age 25, 100 Simpson Street, Marietta, reported sometime between 3 pm on 18 Jun and 12:30 pm on 19 Jun an unknown suspect stole twenty-six Oxycodone pills from a prescription bottle in his bedroom. This case remains under investigation (905).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Kenneth Eugene Wriston, age 34, 85 Brooker Road, Marietta, a fugitive from justice, a felony. Wriston was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jun 09 at 4:03 pm.

Michael Ray Holland, age 34, 22901 Bethel Ridge Road, Amesville, for felony charges of kidnapping and aggravated burglary and for misdemeanor charges of assault and criminal damaging. Holland was picked up at SEPTA by Detective Hawkins of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jun 09 at 4:16 pm.

Doming Mitchael Morales, age 35, 662 Fire Tower Road, Cottle, WV, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Morales was picked up at SEPTA by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jun 09 at 4:40 pm.

Matthew Carlton Brient, age 47, 25 Central Avenue, Athens, for obstructing official business and failure to appear, both misdemeanors. Brient was arrested near milepost eleven on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jun 09 at 9:37 pm.

Govinda Estrella-Rivera, age 23, 144 Westland Avenue Apt. 3, Columbus, for driving under a suspended license and speeding, both misdemeanors. Estrella-Rivera was arrested near milepost eight on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jun 09 at 10:00 pm.
