On 16 Jun 09 David Lowe, age 56, 3558 School
House Road, Little Hocking, reported he gave his seventeen
year old foster son permission to visit a friend that evening
but two hours have passed since the teenager’s designated
curfew and the juvenile had not yet returned home. This case
remains under investigation (712).
On 16 Jun 09 Elmer L. Perry, age 82, 800 Lang
Farm Road, reported he inadvertently left his detached garage
door open overnight and during that time an unknown suspect(s)
stole a Mauser .223 caliber rifle and a Winchester .3030 rifle.
This case remains under investigation (610).
On 16 Jun 09 Deputy Sheriff Carr and the Beverly-Waterford
Fire Department responded to a fire outside of a property rented
by Audrey Sharp, age 37, at 5285 Buchanan Road, Waterford.
Easily extinguished, the fire caused limited damage to the
residence. An inspector with the Ohio Fire Marshall’s
Office believes a clear glass object being held by a ceramic
figurine in the landscaping may have magnified the sun’s
rays and ignited mulch. As a precaution the fire department
removed a four foot by eight foot section of the home’s
siding to ensure the fire was extinguished.

Michael S. Williams, age 32, 3995 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta,
for failing to appear for arraignment on 9 Jun 09.
Shauna M. Bigley, age 32, 7765 Dalzell Road, Lower Salem,
for an act of menacing committed on 10 May 09.
Anthony D. Cottrill, age 31, 20340 State Route 60, Beverly,
for failing to appear for pretrial on 8 Jun 09.
Sunshine L. Farnsworth, age 24, 832 Saint Marys Avenue, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $211.90.
Cameron A. Fisher, age 21, State Route 7 Apt. 3A, Marietta,
for failing to appear for pretrial on 9 Jun 09.
Patricia A. Hummel, age 30, 300 Alderman Street Lot 5, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $266.50.
Charles D. Leasure, age 20, 5380 State Route 260, New Matamoras,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $369.20.
Arthur D. Newsome III, age 26, 7119 Lindenmere Drive, Bloomfield,
MI, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $374.40.
Christopher A. Reynolds, age 22, 16 Rubles Court, Parkersburg,
for violating the terms of his probation by failing to appear
for a scheduled appointment and for failing to show proof of
making restitution.
Megan N. Wiggins, age 19, 204 E. Fifth Street, Williamstown,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $123.50.
Justin M. Williamson, age 27, 505 Bells Run Road, Newport,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication on 23 May 09.
Richard J. Wood, age 51, address unknown, for failing to register
a change of address as a registered sex offender.
David W. Wriston, age 24, 687 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines
in the sum of $576.40.
Todd Carpenter, age 43, 130 E. Second Street Apt. 1, Perrysville,
OH, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on an
order to show cause on 2 Jun 09.
The following individuals

Mark Edward Hoover, age 44, 2130 Murray Street, Belpre, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines,
a misdemeanor. Hoover was picked up at the Athens County line
by Deputy Sheriff Thorpe and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 16 Jun 09 at 12:47 am.
Jeffery Gene Acree, Reed Road, Marietta, for possession of
drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.
Acree was arrested on Third Street in Marietta by the Ohio
State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 16 Jun 09 at 1:10 am.
Todd Daniel Weddle, age 40, 100 Cisler Lane
Apt. C6, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation,
a misdemeanor. Weddle was arrested at the office of Probation
Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 16 Jun 09 at 11:00 am.
Danielle Sue Kuhens, age 30, 3855 Warren Chapel Road, Marietta,
for theft and for breach of recognizance, both misdemeanors.
Kuhens was picked up at the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail by
Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 16 Jun 09 at 12:00 pm.
