On 4 Jun 09 William Cunningham, age 43, 1721
Milner Road, Waterford, reported after he was informed that
a 2000 Honda Accord and a 1996 Chevy Tahoe in his possession
were to be repossessed he parked the vehicles at his residence
with the keys in the ignition on 11 May 09. Mr. Cunningham
said he assumed the vehicles were repossessed on 14 May but
the lending company said they did not take possession of the
vehicles. The Honda was recovered in Morgan County on 4 Jun
and the location of the Tahoe is unknown. This case remains
under investigation (594).
On 4 Jul 09 Sgt. Norman requested a warrant
for Kari Pugh, age 20, 205 State Route 339, Belpre, for theft.
Earlier in the day Ms. Pugh hired a taxi to drive her from
New Matamoras to Belpre and did not pay the driver $109.25
when she reached her destination.
On 4 Jun 09, while responding to a domestic
dispute at 5675 Federal Road, Little Hocking, Deputy Sheriff
Smeeks located the alleged suspect in a vehicle pulling into
a driveway on State Route 339. Approaching the vehicle, Deputy
Smeeks saw the driver, Earl E. Tucker, age 68, taking a drink
from a bottle of after shave cologne. Asked what he was doing,
Mr. Tucker replied that he had been drinking and did not want
to smell of alcohol. Through the cologne smell Deputy Smeeks
still detected an odor of alcoholic beverage and administered
field sobriety tests. Arrested for OVI, Mr. Tucker tested .089
BAC. Investigating the domestic violence report, Lt. Gherke
determined no act of domestic violence occurred. Mr. Tucker’s
wife Sandra, age 58, stated she and her husband were both intoxicated
and arguing. Mrs. Tucker said her husband inadvertently struck
her with a door when he was entering a room.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
George James Jacobs Jr., age 50, 7086 Warren Sharon Road,
Brookfield, OH, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, possession
of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors.
Jacobs was arrested on Pike Street by Patrolman Chapman of
the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 4 Jun 09 at 12:45 am.
Robert Franklin Hall, age 28, 1133 Market Street Apt. 208,
Parkersburg, for operating a vehicle without a license, a misdemeanor.
Hall was arrested at the intersection of Fifth and Hart streets
by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Jun 09 at
1:30 am.
Kimberly Leanne Cope, age 22, 201 Monroe Manner,
Woodsfield, OH, for criminal simulation, a misdemeanor. Cope
was picked up at the Guernsey County Jail by Deputy Sheriff
O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 4 Jun 09 at 12:41 pm.
Marco Antonio Trujillo, age 31, 1341 Bonnieville, Lakewood,
OH, for passing bad checks, a misdemeanor. Trujillo was picked
up at the Lakewood Police Department by Deputy Sheriff Underwood
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Jun 09 at
4:02 pm.
Shaun Michael McFarland, age 30, 30455 State Route 7, Marietta,
for domestic violence, menacing and criminal damaging, all
misdemeanors. McFarland was arrested at his residence by Deputy
Sheriff Travaglio and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 4 Jun 09 at 5:30 pm.
Samantha Claudette Lemon, age 27, 108 Colonial Square Apt.
F, Belpre, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Lemon was arrested at her residence
by Deputy Sheriff Smeeks and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 4 Jun 09 at 9:47 pm.
Jessica Lynn Stevens, age 27, 25980 State Route 7, Marietta,
for two felony counts of robbery. Stevens was arrested at the
American Legion by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
4 Jun 09 at 10:10 pm.
