On 23 May 09 Deputy Sheriff Lockhart issued
a citation to Julian X. Brown, age 23, 2305 36th Street, Parkersburg,
for driving under a suspended license. Deputy Lockhart stopped
Mr. Brown on US 50 near Tower Road in Belpre Township.
On 23 May 09 witnesses at 505 Bells Run Road,
Newport, reported the home’s resident was highly intoxicated
and out of control. The witnesses said Justin M. Williamson,
age 27, attempted to instigate fights with those present and
threw objects around the house. At the residence, Sgt. Johnson
found Mr. Williamson uncooperative and noticed Mr. Williamson
could not stand on his own nor could he pull up his pants that
kept falling down. For his safety, Mr. Williamson was arrested
Mr. Williamson for disorderly conduct by intoxication and transported
him to the Washington County Jail. At the jail Mr. Williamson
tested .280 BAC.
On 23 May 09 Deputy Sheriff Thorpe arrested
Brian T. Sawyer, age 29, 318 Ross Road, Little Hocking, for
driving under a suspended license. Deputy Thorpe stopped Mr.
Sawyer on US 50 at Gantsville Road in Belpre Township.
On 23 May 09 Jeremy Wunderlich, age 19, 22705
State Route 339, Beverly, reported while he was away from his
residence between 9:30 and 4 pm an unknown suspect(s) stole
approximately two truckloads of cut firewood, a loss he estimates
at $150. This case remains under investigation (610).
On 23 May 09 Deputy Sheriff Mankins arrested
Joseph H. Bui, age 30, 127 Greene Street, Newport, for driving
under an FRA suspended license. Deputy Mankins stopped Mr.
Bui on State Route 7 near Willow Island in Newport Township.
On 23 May 09 Pamela McIntire, age 47, 714
W. Fifth Street, Williamstown, reported she was inside the
Outskirts bar from 9:45 pm until after 2 am the next morning
and sometime during that period an unknown suspect(s) stole
$565 from her purse which she locked in her vehicle’s
trunk. This case remains under investigation (707).
On 23 May 09 Deputy Sheriff Mankins requested
a summons for a fourteen year old Friendly, WV resident to
appear in Juvenile Court on a charge of delinquency by domestic
violence. En route to a residence on Kinderhook Road in Newport,
the teenager was upset her father and his fiancé would
not allow her to spend the night at a friend’s home.
During the trip the juvenile attempted several times to jump
from the moving vehicle and punched her father’s fiancé in
the cheek. Due to the fact that the father’s fiancé resides
in the home along with the teenager Deputy Mankins determined
the incident met the criteria for a charge of domestic violence.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Earl Conley Fugitt, age 28, 3432 Elizabeth Pike, Mineral Wells,
for driving under a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia
and for three counts of failure to appear, all misdemeanors.
Fugitt was arrested on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Carr
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 May 09
at 12:07 am.
Michael Allen Holton, age 18, 4812 15th Avenue, Parkersburg,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Holton was arrested on Braun Road in
Belpre by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 23 May 09 at 12:13 am.
Justin Matthew Williamson, age 27, 505 Bells Run Road, Newport,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Williamson
was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Johnson of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 23 May 09 at 2:30 am.
Alice Jane Keeler, age 46, 101 Evans Street, New Matamoras,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Keeler
was arrested in New Matamoras by Chief Bourne of the New Matamoras
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 23 May 09 at 3:07 am.
Joseph Hai Bui, age 31, 127 Greene Street, Newport, for driving
under an FRA suspended license, a misdemeanor. Bui was arrested
on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 23 May 09 at 6:15 pm.
Brian Timothy Sawyer, age 29, 318 Ross Road, Little Hocking,
for driving under a suspended license, for failure to appear
at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines and for violating
the terms of his probation, all misdemeanors. Sawyer was arrested
on US 50 near Gantsville Road by Deputy Sheriff Thorpe and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 May 09 at 6:30
pm.
Marissa Brianne Kiggans, age 23, Preston Street, Morgantown,
WV, for a felony charge of failure to appear and for misdemeanor
charges of failure to appear and failure to appear at a court
ordered hearing on unpaid fines. Kiggans was turned in by a
bail bondsman and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 23 May 09 at 7:45 pm.
Matthew Richard Jett, age 24, 101 Deerwalk Circle Apt. B,
Marietta, for driving under an FRA suspended license, a misdemeanor.
Jett was arrested on State Route 260 by Chief Bourne of the
New Matamoras Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 23 May 09 at 10:10 pm.
Bryan Lee Stewart, age 40, 530 Laurel Street Apt. 9, Middleport,
OH, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Stewart was arrested in Belpre by Deputy
Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 23 May 09 at 10:40 pm.
