On 21 May 09 Roger P. Loy, age 36, 3002 Milltown
Road, Reno, reported sometime between 9 am and 10 am his prescription
bottle of hydrocodone and $100 in cash were stolen from his
truck while he worked at Cranberry Lumber at 260 Dana Road,
Newport. This case remains under investigation (1104).
On 21 May 09 Deputy Sheriff Holbert transported
a forty-eight year old New Matamoras resident to Marietta Memorial
Hospital following an overdose of prescription medication.
Making suicidal comments to family members, the woman ingested
two hydrocodone pills and three alprazolam pills.
On 21 May 09 an employee of Washington Electric
Power, 406 Colegate Drive, Marietta, reported the previous
day he disconnected the electric meter at a residence on Warren
Chapel Road because the electric bill was past due. When he
drove by the residence a day later the employee noticed the
electric meter was removed and cables were connected to the
residence to provide power. This case remains under investigation
(1001).
On 21 May 09 Jade Tomblin, age 18, 6101 State
Route 60, Lowell, reported she recently broke up with her live-in
boyfriend Anthony Roton, age 22, 406 Dodge Avenue, Williamstown,
and he stopped by her residence to retrieve his television.
Ms. Tomblin said when she refused to talk to Mr. Roton he became
increasingly agitated and threatened to break several windows.
At one point during the dispute Ms. Tomblin said Mr. Roton
tackled her onto a bed, screamed at her and spit on her. Ms.
Tomblin also noted during the incident that her ex-boyfriend
grabbed a knife from the kitchen and ran in and out of the
home with it. As a result of his investigation, Deputy Sheriff
Reeder requested warrants for Mr. Roton for domestic violence
and criminal damaging.
On 21 May 09 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Joshua M. Crouser, age 19, 254 Tresch Road, Fleming,
for not stopping at a stop sign. Deputy Mankins stopped Mr.
Crouser after he failed to stop at the intersection of Reese
Road and State Route 550 in Barlow Township.
On 21 May 09 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Aaron J. Sarver, age 23, 15936 State Route 550,
Fleming, for failing to reinstate his operator’s license.
Deputy Mankins stopped Mr. Sarver on State Route 550 near the
50A Carryout in Warren Township.

Drive, Columbus, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $175.
Anthony S. Boling, age 32, 312 Scott Avenue, Belpre, for failure
to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the
sum of $807.20.
Sherman D. Holder, age 25, 727 E. Market Street, Washington,
OH, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $1,374.
Ronald L. Hornbeck, age 37, 1610 Hill Street Apt. G, Belpre,
for breach of recognizance and for failing to appear for pretrial
on 4 May 09.
Crystal D. Hoover, age 27, 186 Main Street Lot 7, Lowell,
for disorderly conduct by fighting on 15 Apr 09.
Carl W. Davis, age 22, 6396 State Route 78, McConnelsville,
for breach of recognizance and for contempt for failing to
pay fines.
William Harris, age 29, 1535 Braun Road, Belpre, for failing
to appear for trial on 13 May 09.
Marissa B. Kiggans, age 23, 75 Martin Drive, Fleming, for
failing to appear for jury trial on 7 May 09.
Travis L. Klein, age 20, Marietta, for failing to appear to
serve seven days in jail on 11 May 09.
Brittany M. Martin, age 23, 1907 Princeton Street, Parkersburg,
for an act of domestic violence committed on 25 Apr 09.
Donald R. Meador, age 58, 807 Third Street, Marietta, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines
in the sum of $773.70.
Helena D. Riggs, age 35, 1455 East Branch Road, Lowell, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines
in the sum of $2,824.60 and for failing to appear to serve
seventeen days in jail on 8 May 09.
Herman W. Smith, age 44, 324 Second Street, Macksburg, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines
in the sum of $59.80.
Michael E. Taylor, age 54, Marietta, for failing to appear
for a contempt hearing on 11 May 09.
Derick L. Walker, age 24, 131 Ivan Street, Washington, WV,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $1,228.50.
Jeffery W. Welsch, age 23, 101 Gibbons Lane Apt. E, Belpre,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $682.50.
Michael S. Williams, age 32, 3995 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta,
for failing to appear to serve seven days in jail on 20 Apr
09.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Nastassja Anna Mirowski, age 19, 37 Sycamore Street, Chauncey,
OH, for .02 breath underage OVI and for speeding, both misdemeanors.
Mirowski was arrested near milepost eight on State Route 7
by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 21 May 09 at 2:45 am.
Deane Alan Curtis, age 47, 220 Pennsylvania Avenue Apt 1,
Marietta, for domestic violence, a felony. Curtis was arrested
at his residence by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 21 May 09 at 4:05 am.
Jeremy William White, age 29, 3590 Enlow Road,
Athens, for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor.
White was picked up at the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail by
Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 21 May 09 at 11:20 am.
Deanna Marie Dobbins, age 33, 211 Poplar Lane, Marietta, for
obstructing official business, a misdemeanor. Dobbins was arrested
on Colegate Drive by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 21 May 09 at 1:04 pm.
Timothy Michael Reed, age 46, 2640 Blue Spruce Court, Columbus,
a fugitive from justice. Reed was arrested on Interstate 77
by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 21 May 09 at 8:50 pm.
