On 17 May 09 Deputy Sheriff Anderson issued
a citation to Kevin W. Lott, age 38, 4418 11th Avenue, Parkersburg,
for driving under a suspended license. Deputy Anderson stopped
Mr. Lott on State Route 7 near Ayers Boulevard in Dunham Township.
On 17 May 09 Susanne Wendt, age 22, 840 Pike
Street Apt. 37, Marietta, reported being pushed to the floor
during an argument with her live-in boyfriend Andrew Russo,
age 30. Contradicting his girlfriend, Mr. Russo said Ms. Wendt
attempted to punch him because he asked her to move out of
the apartment due to their relationship problems. Mr. Russo
stated he tried to block the strike of Ms. Wendt and unintentionally
knocked her to the floor. Deputy Sheriff Reeder concluded both
parties were equally at fault and were not in fear for their
safety. As a result, Deputy Reeder had the parties separate
for the evening and requested summonses for Mr. Russo and Ms.
Wendt for disorderly conduct by fighting.
On 17 May 09 Sgt. Eddy requested a summons
for Matthew S. Johnson, age 30, 29765 State Route 7, Marietta,
for possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Investigating a report of a vehicle damaging fields on Nichols
Road, Sgt. Eddy encountered Mr. Johnson, who could not provide
a plausible explanation for why he was driving on the dead
end road. A consensual search of Mr. Johnson’s vehicle
yielded a bag of marijuana and a marijuana pipe.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Rodney Allen Crites, age 28, 1229 22nd Street Apt. 4, Parkersburg,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Crites was arrested on US 50 by Patrolman
Kirby of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 17 May 09 at 12:08 am.
Ryan Bruce Dick, age 37, 2110 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta, for
OVI and for driving outside the marked lanes of travel, both
misdemeanors. Dick was arrested on Seventh Street in Marietta
by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 17 May 09 at 2:58 am.
Deanna Marie Dobbins, age 33, 211 Poplar Lane, Marietta, for
resisting arrest and for criminal trespassing, both misdemeanors.
Dobbins was arrested on Matthew Street in Marietta by Patrolman
Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 17 May 09 at 3:53 am.
Kevin Wayne Lott, age 38, 4418 11th Avenue, Parkersburg, for
driving under an OVI suspended license, a misdemeanor. Lott
was arrested on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Reeder and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 May 09 at 6:01
am.
Landon Wesley Abbott, age 18, 231 E. Spring Street, Marietta,
for underage consumption of alcohol and for obstructing official
business, both misdemeanors. Abbott was arrested on Spring
Street by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 May 09
at 8:44 am.
Michael Anthony Karcher, age 20, 229 E. Spring Street, Marietta,
for criminal mischief and for underage consumption of alcohol,
both misdemeanors. Karcher was arrested on Quarry Street in
Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 May 09
at 9:02 am.
Teddy Leon Church, age 43, 8045 State Route 555, Cutler, for
domestic violence, for failure to appear at a court ordered
hearing on unpaid fines and for violating the terms of his
probation, all misdemeanors. Church was arrested at his residence
by Deputy Sheriff Smeeks and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 17 May 09 at 2:59 pm.
