On 14 May 09 the L-A squad transported a thirty-seven
year old to Marietta Memorial Hospital after she ingested an
overdose of prescription medication. Judging by the dosage
prescribed for the Clonazepam, Deputy Sheriff Carr estimates
the victim consumed between twelve and fifteen pills. Once
she is stabilized, medical personnel will conduct a psychiatric
evaluation.
On 14 May 09 Deputy Sheriff Lockhart issued
a citation to Bud R. McCoy, age 21, 3790 School House Road,
Little Hocking, for driving under a suspended license. Deputy
Lockhart stopped Mr. McCoy on US 50 near Drag Strip Road in
Belpre Township.
On 14 May 09 Cathy C. Carlsen, age 58, 16735
County Nine Road, New Matamoras, reported sometime between
2 May and 9 May an unknown suspect(s) stole a wrought iron
bench she placed at her deceased son’s grave at New Matamoras
Cemetery. This case remains under investigation (792).
On 14 May 09 Robert P. Tate Sr., age 58, 266
Briggs Hill Road, Belpre, reported a former tenant of his property
at 1776 Briggs Hill Road caused damage to the residence before
he moved. Mr. Tate said the tenant damaged the front door,
drywall and paneling and also broke a kitchen window. This
case remains under investigation (592).

Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,121.90.
Peter G. Hafner, age 19, 205 Gibbons Place, Marietta, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines
in the sum of $46.25.
Michael Johnson, age 52, 728 Second Street, Marietta, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines
in the sum of $375.70.
Erik J. Koffel, age 22, 4300 State Route 676, Stockport, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines
in the sum of $1,189.50.
Kathleen McGrew, age 31, 611 Daugherty Road, Stockport, for
failing to appear for a Debtor’s Exam.
Donald A. O’Brien, age 21, PO Box 51, Belpre, for failure
to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the
sum of $354.90.
Fred L. Schob, age 40, 9243 Muskingum River Road, Lowell,
for committing an act of domestic violence on 18 Apr 09.
Curtis A. Sheperd, age 22, 8846 State Route 555, Cutler, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines
in the sum of $331.50.
Jodie J. Kirl, age 39, Route 1 Box 196, Parkersburg,
for aggravated burglary and felonious assault committed on
8 May 09.
Jason T. Wells, age 30, 505 W. Sixth Street, Williamstown,
for violating the terms of his probation by failing to appear
for a scheduled appointment.
Ashley D. Williams, age 19, 1790 Masonic Park Road Lot 5,
Marietta, for issuing a bad check for $401.77 to B & W
Pharmacy on 21 Mar 09.
Amanda R. Wilson, age 22, 2603 Bartlett Street, Parkersburg,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $240.50.
Michael T. Powell, age 20, 1710 Park Street,
Parkersburg, for aggravated burglary and felonious assault
committed on 8 May 09.
Kenneth Lasure, age 28, 27250 State Route 7, Marietta, for
committing an act of domestic violence on 6 May 09.
The following
individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Brian Keith Griffin, age 38, 511 Spruce Street
Apt. 1A, Caldwell, for failure to appear, a felony. Griffin
was picked up in Athens by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 May 09 at 10:25
am.
Wayne Anthony Rhodes, age 20, 5009 Kidder Drive, Belpre, for
violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Rhodes
was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 May 09
at 12:50 pm.
John Robert Suckling, age 57, 101 County Meadows Drive, Marietta,
for three misdemeanor counts of failure to appear. Suckling
was arrested on Silver Globe Road in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff
Simmons and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14
May 09 at 9:47 pm.
