On 1 May 09 Lt. Canavan and Deputy Sheriffs
Mankins and McLeish responded to a domestic dispute at 125
Millers Lane Apt. B3, Marietta. Virginia Nunn, age 22, said
there is a water boil advisory for her area and she became
upset that her live-in boyfriend forgot to boil the water he
handed to her in a glass. Ms. Nunn stated she is pregnant and
her hormones are out of whack and she threw the glass of water
at her boyfriend. In return, Ms. Nunn’s boyfriend pushed
her against a wall and accidentally hit her in the side when
he attempted to punch the wall. Both parties agreed they were
not attempting to harm the other nor did they fear for their
safety. As a result, Deputy Mankins closed this case as unfounded.
