On 29 Apr 09 Deputy Sheriff Spencer arrested Anthony D. Cottrill, age 31, 20350 State Route 60, Beverly, for disorderly conduct. Earlier in the evening, in the waning hours of 28 Apr, Mr. Cottrill phoned a residence where his estranged wife was and made comments about shooting and assaulting her new boyfriend. Mr. Cottrill admitted making the comments but said he was expressing what he felt like doing and that he did not intend to shoot anyone.

On 29 Apr 09 Deputy Sheriff Carr requested a summons for a fifteen year old Cutler resident to appear in Juvenile Court for being unruly. The teenager, who is in the custody of her grandparents, sneaked out her bedroom window to catch her bus for school despite being ordered to remain at home to meet with a caseworker from Children’s Services. The juvenile claimed she fled her home because she was assaulted by her grandfather but Deputy Carr found no evidence to substantiate the teenager’s claim.

On 29 Apr 09 Lt. Wilson issued a citation to Tricia K. Hildebrecht, age 30, 6950 Walker Road, Walker, WV, for traveling 72 mph in a 55 mph zone. Lt. Wilson stopped Ms. Hildebrecht on State Route 7 near Briggs Hill Road in Warren Township.

On 29 Apr 09 an employee of Stonebridge Operating Company reported sometime between August 2008 and April 2009 an unknown suspect(s) stole approximately 27.5 barrels of oil from an oil tank at 1149 Fisher Ridge Road, Fleming. The estimated value of the stolen oil is $1,350. This case remains under investigation (790).

Anthony Dewain Cottrill, age 31, 20350 State Route 60, Beverly, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Cottrill was arrested in Beverly by Deputy Sheriff Spencer and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Apr 09 at 1:59 am.

Kyle Leon Sparks, age 20, 515 Goose Run Road, Marietta, for possession of drugs, a felony. Sparks was arrested in Common Pleas Court by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Apr 09 at 8:35 am.

Monica Dawn Westfall, age 29, 839 ½ Fairview Avenue, Parkersburg, for failure to appear, a felony. Westfall turned herself in to Deputy Sheriff Simmons and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Apr 09 at 8:56 am.

Cameron Andrew Fisher Sr., age 31, 111 Montgomery Street, Marietta, for driving under a suspended license and for not wearing a sweat belt, both misdemeanors. Fisher was arrested in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Apr 09.
