Along with the Ohio Department of Public Safety Investigative Unit, the Sheriff’s Office recently conducted compliance checks on local businesses possessing liquor licenses. The Division of Liquor Control’s Investigative Unit charged employees of the remaining two businesses, Hickory Grove, 5525 State Route 339, Vincent and the Fox Den, 40 McGrath Road, Macksburg, for selling alcohol to an underage person, a violation of Section 4301.69A of the Ohio Revised Code. The employees charged are Lucinda Curfman, age 20, 985 Burnett Road, Cutler, an employee at Hickory Grove and Linda Hesson, age 30, 40 McGrath Road, Macksburg, an employee at the Fox Den. Agents of the Investigative Unit also cited the Fox Den for several permit and health code violations.
