On 12 Apr 09 the Lowell-Adams Fire Department transported a fourteen year old male and a seventeen year old female to Marietta Memorial Hospital following an ATV crash on East Branch Road in Lowell. Operating the ATV on the road, the fourteen year old said he tried to grab his sunglasses as they began to fall of and lost control of the ATV. Neither passenger suffered serious injuries, however both received stitches for cuts to their heads. Once they received treatment the teenagers were released (610).

On 12 Apr 09 Carl J. Lafatch, age 39, 1944 Briggs Hill Road, Belpre, reported his home was burglarized while he was out of town overnight and a thirty-two inch television and two digital cameras were stolen. This case remains under investigation (592).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Dennis Ray Oakley, age 28, 101 Franklin Street Apt. 2, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Oakley was arrested at his residence by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Apr 09 at 1:05 am.

Fred Leroy Schob II, age 40, 9243 Muskingum River Road, Lowell, for driving under an FRA suspended license, a misdemeanor. Schob was arrested near milepost twenty-seven on State Route 60 in Lowell by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Apr 09 at 2:39 am.

Duane Paul Boggs, age 46, 9010 Traveler Street, Manassas, VA, for .08 breath OVI and for speeding, both misdemeanors. Boggs was arrested on Gilman Avenue in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Apr 09 at 3:30 am.

Caleb Josiah Jones, age 20, 4714 Sixth Avenue, Vienna, for littering, possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and for underage possession of alcohol, all misdemeanors. Jones was arrested at the intersection of Third and Scammel streets in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Apr 09 at 4:21 am.

Jason Eugene Wolfe, age 36, 233 Hillcrest Drive Apt. A, Marietta, for domestic violence, a felony. Wolfe was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Heddleston of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Apr 09 at 4:50 pm.

Frank Lee Billy, age 27, 1405 Pike Street, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Billy was arrested on Second Street by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Apr 09 at 10:08 pm.
