On 3 Apr 09 Joe Perry, age 28, 1161 Farson
Street, Belpre, reported he departed his residence at 3:30
am and returned home after a friend phoned him at 1 pm saying
his front door was standing open. Examining the contents of
his home, Mr. Perry found a gun cabinet door pried open but
determined no property missing. This case remains under investigation
(608).
On 3 Apr 09 Lt. Stackpole, Sgt. Norman and
Deputy Sheriff Reeder responded to the scene of death of a
seventy year old Belpre resident. The man’s death appears
natural; no foul play is suspected.

Office received the following warrants:
Teddy L. Church, age 43, 263 Lenton Hill Road,
Coolville, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $714.09.
Danielle S. Kuhens, age 30, 3855 Warren Chapel Road, Marietta,
for breach of recognizance for failing to appear for arraignment
on 30 Mar 09.
Nicole D. Ramsey, age 22, 1408 23rd Street, Parkersburg, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines
in the sum of $140.40.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Steven Matthew Pierce Jr., age 20, 3915 State
Route 676, Stockport, for failure to appear at a court ordered
hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Pierce was picked up
at the Morgan County line by Sgt. Johnson of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 3 Apr 09 at 12:05 am.
Richard Dean Harper, age 63, 112 Davis Street, Uhrichsville,
OH, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor.
Harper was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Thomas of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 3 Apr 09 at 3:20.
Trent Dwight Mason, age 20, 32 Douglas Street,
Marietta, for driving under a suspended license and for violating
the terms of his probation, both misdemeanors. Mason was arrested
on State Route 7 in Reno by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Apr 09 at 4:38
pm.
Kayla Marie Sites, age 23, 69 Seventh Street,
McConnelsville, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Sites was picked up at the
Morgan County line by Sgt. Eddy of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Apr
09 at 11:00 pm.
James Robert Goslin, age 56, 7741 State Route
78 NE, McConnelsville, for OVI, for failing to dim his headlights
and for having one operational headlight, all misdemeanors.
Goslin was arrested on State Route 60 in Beverly by Patrolman
Hunter of the Beverly Police Department and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 4 Apr 09 at 1:50 am.
Carl Lester Bruer II, age 37, 3 Ashlawn Drive,
South Charleston, WV, for OVI, speeding and for having only
one functioning headlight, all misdemeanors. Bruer was arrested
on near milepost thirteen on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State
Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 3 Apr 09 at 4:38 pm.
