On 27 Mar 09 Deputy Sheriff Hornbeck arrested
Jason M. Porth, age 24, Marietta, for possession of drugs.
Stopped on Pike Street for driving erratically, Mr. Porth had
glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred his speech. A pat down of
Mr. Porth for weapons revealed a plastic bag containing twenty-five
pills Deputy Hornbeck identified as a generic for the Schedule
IV drug Klonopin.
On 27 Mar 09 Deputy Sheriff S. Travaglio issued
a citation to Joseph X. Gates, age 44, 206 Jennings Road, Rossford,
OH, for not wearing a seat belt. Deputy Travaglio originally
stopped Mr. Gates for having illegal window tint on Interstate
77 near milepost five in Muskingum Township.
On 27 Mar 09 Deputy Sheriff S. Travaglio issued
a citation to Isaiah C. Dingman, age 22, 4326 N. 54th Street,
Milwaukee, WI, for following another vehicle too closely and
for failing to signal. Stopped on Interstate 77 near milepost
twelve for not signaling to overtake another vehicle, Mr. Dingman’s
vehicle emanated an odor of burnt marijuana. A canine called
to the scene indicated the presence of drugs in the vehicle,
prompting a search. The search yielded three marijuana joints,
some of which Mr. Dingman said he smoked while traveling through
Illinois with a friend. As a result, Deputy Travaglio issued
Mr. Dingman a minor misdemeanor citation for possession of
marijuana.
On 27 Mar 09 Deputy Sheriff S. Travaglio issued
a citation to James F. Mellon, age 23, 4381 Pleasant Ridge
Road, Marietta, for not wearing a seat belt. Deputy Travaglio
originally stopped Mr. Mellon for having a cracked windshield
on Interstate 77 near milepost seven in Muskingum Township.
On 27 Mar 09 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued
a citation to Debbie J. Frame, age 31, 1340 Arch Street, Zanesville,
for not wearing a seat belt. Deputy Smeeks originally stopped
Ms. Frame for speeding near exit six on Interstate 77 in Muskingum
Township.

Jack W. Longfellow, age 35, 643 Goose Run
Road, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $933.40.
Ali E. Bartimus, age 19, 1744 Autumn Drive,
Lancaster, OH, for possession of a marijuana pipe on 1 Mar
09.
Richard E. Camp, age 28, 34462 Union Ridge
Road, Albany, OH, for being in possession of an open container
of alcohol in a motor vehicle on 2 Mar 09.
Iva R. McFall, age 27, 28775 B Gaston Road,
Albany, OH, for failing to appear for pretrial on 25 Mar 09.
Dallas W. Roberts, age 26, 455 Joe Skinner
Road, Belpre, for breach of recognizance for failing to appear
for arraignment on 25 Jan 09.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Charles David Leasure, age 19, 5380 State
Route 260, New Matamoras, for criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor.
Leasure was arrested in New Matamoras by Chief Bourne of the
New Matamoras Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 27 Mar 09 at 12:04 am.
Jason Eugene Wolfe, age 36, 233 Hillcrest
Drive Apt. A, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
Wolfe was arrested on Greene Street by Patrolman Nedeff of
the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 27 Mar 09 at 2:05 am.
Mary Elizabeth McKitrick, age 30, 233 Hillcrest
Drive Apt. A, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered
hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. McKitrick was arrested
on Sunset Lane by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
27 Mar 09 at 2:53 am.
Jason Michael Porth, age 24, Marietta, for
possession of drugs, a misdemeanor. Porth was arrested on Pike
Street near Interstate 77 by Deputy Sheriff Hornbeck and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 27 Mar 09 at 3:28 am.
Anthony Scott Boling, age 32, Coolville, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines
and for driving under a suspended license, both misdemeanors.
Boling was picked up at the Noble Correctional Institution
by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 27 Mar 09 at 12:10 pm.
