On 11 Mar 09 Deputy Sheriff K. Travaglio issued
a citation to James E. Cottrill, age 35, 3085 State Route 26,
Marietta, for operating a vehicle with a driver’s license
that expired in January 2009. Deputy Travaglio stopped Mr.
Cottrill on US 50 near Farson Street in Belpre Township.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Jacob M. Ridgeway, age 29, 3050 Warren Chapel
Road, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $232.70.
Teddy Church, age 43, 253 Lake Road, Belpre, for violating
the terms of his probation by failing to show proof of attending
counseling and for failing to report to the Probation Department
as ordered by the court.
Patrick D. Worstell, age 24, 320 Browns Road, Marietta, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines
in the sum of $560.30.
Alfred H. Martin, age 22, 819 Congress Road, Belpre, for failure
to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the
sum of $256.10.
Fawn R. Miller, age 31, 2975 State Route 7, Marietta, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines
in the sum of $242.04.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Aaron Paul Turner, age 28, 527 Rosemont Court, Canton, for
driving under a suspended license and for speeding, both misdemeanors.
Turner was arrested near milepost three on Interstate 77 by
the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 11 Mar 09 at 3:17 am.
Anthony William Smith, age 20, 907 30th Street Apt. 4, Parkersburg,
for a felony charge of possession of drugs and for misdemeanor
charges of OVI, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession
of drug abuse instruments and for failing to obey the right
of way. Smith was arrested in Belpre by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11
Mar 09 at 3:45 am
Matthew David Salser, age 22, 31655 Noble
Summit Road, Middleport, OH, for theft, a felony. Salser was
picked up at the Southeastern Correctional Institution in Lancaster
by Deputy Sheriff Reeder and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 11 Mar 09 at 2:10 pm.
Sherman Lee Larrimore Jr., age 27, 6805 Shay Ridge Road, New
Matamoras, for failing to register a change of address as a
registered sex offender, for failing to register periodically
as a registered sex offender and for unlawful sexual conduct
with a minor, all felonies. Larrimore turned himself in to
Deputy Sheriff Simmons and was processed into the Washington
County Jail on 11 Mar 09 at 8:21 pm.
