On 28 Feb 09 Deputy Sheriff Hornbeck responded to a report of an intoxicated male firing a weapon at 840 Tadpole Run Road, Belpre. Witnesses at the scene said they arrived at the address and Robert D. Cline, age 50, exited the residence and fired a handgun in the air while yelling at the two of them. The witnesses stated they did not fear being shot and commented they believe Mr. Cline was angry that the male witness’ wife allegedly broke into and stole items from his home. Questioned about the incident, Mr. Cline admitted he fired a warning shot to keep the male subject from coming farther onto his property and said the subject had been phoning him and threatening him with bodily harm. Due to his inebriety, later tested at .190 BAC, Mr. Cline was arrested for using a weapon while intoxicated and transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 28 Feb 09 Daniel S. Matheny, age 52, 1725 Dixon Ridge Road, Lowell, reported for the past several months unknown persons have been disposing of trash, debris and other items on his property along Dixon Ridge Road. This case remains under investigation (1184).
