On 26 Feb 09 Brenda K. Stoll, age 51, 100
Deerwalk Circle Apt. A, Marietta, reported her live-in boyfriend
Hobert Mills Jr., age 65, choked, threatened and pushed her
during the course of an argument. En route to the scene, Deputy
Sheriff S. Travaglio learned Ms. Stoll and Mr. Mills both had
been drinking and Mr. Mills left the residence in his vehicle.
Deputy Travaglio located Mr. Mills near Arends Ridge Road on
State Route 60 and conducted a traffic stop. Noticing an odor
of alcohol about Mr. Mills, Deputy Travaglio administered field
sobriety tests. Following his poor performance on the tests
Mr. Mills was arrested for OVI and domestic violence and transported
him to the Washington County Jail. At the jail Mr. Mills tested
.134 BAC.
On 26 Feb 09 Jessica Frye, age 22, 1601 State
Route 821, Marietta, reported when she returned to her residence
after being away for a couple of weeks she found a water bong
and rolling papers she said belong to her husband. This case
remains under investigation (945).
On 26 Feb 09 Robert C. Kitts, age 51, 253
1/2 Main Street, Lowell, reported sometime during the past
four weeks an unknown suspect stole a rifle, a revolver, a
pellet gun and $100 in change from the room in which he stayed
at his brother’s residence at 100 Water Street, Lowell.
This case remains under investigation (805).
On 26 Feb 09 Deputy Sheriff Tornes requested
a warrant for Matthew J. Cornell, age 24, homeless, Marietta,
for failing to appear for his periodic update as a Tier 3 sex
offender.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Ronald Wayne Gilbert, age 43, 726 ½ Third
Street, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered
hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Gilbert was arrested
at his residence by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
26 Feb 09 at 11:07 am.
Bryan Graham Beaver III, 635 Hadley Hollow Road, Marietta,
for driving under a suspended license, passing bad checks and
for not wearing a seat belt, all misdemeanors. Beaver was arrested
on State Route 26 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 26 Feb 09 at 1:05 pm.
Danielle Lynn Pickens, age 20, 3962 Lockout Road, Ireland,
WV, for forgery, a felony. Pickens was picked up in Clarksburg,
WV by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 26 Feb 09 at 5:20 pm.
