On 22 Feb 09 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks and the Beverly Fire Department were dispatched to a chimney fire at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Jaeger at 119 Newsad Road, Waterford. Awakened by smoke and noticing a black spot on a wall that turned into flames, the Jaegers escaped the home with their three children without injury. Deemed a total loss due to fire and water damage, the Jaegers will be able to recover a large portion of their personal property.

On 22 Feb 09 Scott N. Cisler, age 45, 3390 State Route 260, New Matamoras, reported an unknown suspect(s) emptied his prescription bottles of hydrocodone and diazepam sometime since he remembered seeing the pills on 20 Dec 08. This case remains under investigation (1184).

The following individual wAS processed into the Washington County Jail:

Timothy Brian Russell, age 30, 50 Millers Lane, Marietta, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Russell was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Feb 09 at 1:33 pm.
