On 19 Feb 09 EMS personnel reported they responded to a distress call involving a possible overdose at 817 Masonic Park Road Lot 1, Marietta, and a male resident had cursed at them and refused them entry. Hearing what sounded like fighting inside the residence, Deputy Sheriff S. Travaglio entered the home through an unlocked door and was angrily greeted by a highly intoxicated male identified as Michael B. Page, age 41. Mr. Page refused to allow Deputy Travaglio to speak to the woman, instead he began yelling profanities, approached Deputy Travaglio in a threatening manner and attempted to push him out of the home. A brief struggle ensued and Deputy Travaglio took Mr. Page into custody. Also appearing quite inebriated, the female in the residence, Georgia Hall, age 46, had swelling on the side of her face she said was caused when Mr. Page punched her. Escorted to EMS personnel outside, Ms. Hall became combative, started swinging her arms and nearly struck several people attempting to assist her. As a result of the incident Deputy Travaglio arrested Mr. Page for domestic violence, resisting arrest, obstructing official business and disorderly conduct by intoxication. Arrested as well, Ms. Hall was charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication. When transported to the Washington County Jail Mr. Page tested .343 BAC and Ms. Hall tested .214 BAC.
