On 16 Feb 09 John Blazoksy, age 53, 820 Ferncliff
Drive, Marietta, reported he heard a crash behind his house
soon after he confronted two teenage males who were throwing
sticks and rocks from atop a hill. When he ventured outside
Mr. Blazosky found damage to the siding of his home and a large
tire rim that appeared to have been pushed down the hill. This
case remains under investigation (805).
On 16 Feb 09 an employee of Leasco Equipment
Services Inc, 1847 State Route 7, Marietta, reported unbeknownst
to his supervisors an employee obtained a company credit card.
The employee stated the employee, who was fired after the discovery,
used the credit card to make payments on his personal car and
also used it to rent a room at a hotel in Ravenswood, WV. This
case remains under investigation (1184).
On 16 Feb 09 Tabitha D. Way, age 27, 12786
State Route 676, Waterford, reported she believes two friends
who visited her home briefly that afternoon stole a Nintendo
DS that belonged to her son. This case remains under investigation
(805).
On 16 Feb 09 Joan Hendrickson, age 74, 55
Mill Street, Vincent, reported two weeks ago she paid an individual
$100 to remove a tree from her property and the individual
has not returned to complete the task. This case remains under
investigation (790).
On 16 Feb 09 Amanda D. Chidester, age 26,
195 McGill Road, Vincent, reported she was seated in the driver’s
seat of her van when her live-in boyfriend Allen D. Ball, age
27, punched the window, causing three small lacerations to
her face. Ms. Chidester informed Deputy Sheriff Smeeks that
Mr. Ball broke another window of her van and also shattered
the Plexiglas of the storm door to their home. Raucous and
rambling about his girlfriend allegedly taking money from his
wallet, Mr. Ball’s had cuts on his hand and bled on various
locations in his yard. Determining Ms. Chidester feared for
her safety during the incident, Deputy Smeeks arrested Mr.
Ball for domestic violence and criminal damaging and transported
him to the Washington County Jail.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Gary Edward Warne Jr., age 47, 53421 Lydia Road, Coolville,
for OVI, possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia,
for driving outside the marked lanes of travel and for not
wearing a seat belt, all misdemeanors. Warne was arrested near
milepost eighteen on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16
Feb 09 at 12:42 am.
Allen Dale Ball, age 27, 195 McGill Road, Vincent, for a felony
charger of domestic violence and a misdemeanor charge of criminal
damaging. Ball was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff
Smeeks and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16
Feb 09 at 11:25 am.
