On 15 Feb 09 William H. Thomas, age 39, 836 Pike Street Apt. 4, Marietta, reported he is out of town but that a neighbor informed him that two individuals who used to live in his apartment broke a window to enter his residence and to retrieve their belongings. This case remains under investigation (805).

On 15 Feb 09 Deputy Sheriff Hornbeck arrested a sixteen year old Belpre resident for delinquency by domestic violence. Upset that he was not allowed to retrieve his Xbox and return to a friend’s home, the juvenile attacked his nineteen year old brother, who was playing a game on the system at the time. The two threw household items at each other and when his brother attempted to restrain him the juvenile bit his brother’s leg, causing a larger laceration. The juvenile continued his rampage, damaging a door and breaking dishes. Before the teenager’s tirade concluded he assaulted his mother by grabbing her neck and also pushed his stepfather in the back.
