On 12 Feb 09 Deputy Sheriff Holbert arrested Darren D. Hall, age 24, 194 Davis Road, Waterford, for domestic violence. In the waning hours of 11 Feb Mr. Hall was involved in an argument with his seventeen year old sister and pushed her to the floor. The victim said her brother was intoxicated and that caused her to be in fear for her safety.

On 12 Feb 09 Deputy Sheriff S. Travaglio responded to a possible domestic dispute at 840 Pike Street Apt. 37, Marietta. Upon speaking with reported victim, Susan R. Wendt, age 21, Deputy Travaglio noticed an odor of burnt marijuana. Ms. Wendt admitted she recently smoked marijuana and produced a homemade marijuana pipe she said belonged to her. Ms. Wendt’s boyfriend Andrew B. Russo, age 30, claimed the marijuana pipe was his and stated he recently smoked marijuana with Ms. Wendt. Not finding any evidence of domestic violence, Deputy Travaglio arrested Ms. Wendt and Mr. Russo for possession of drug paraphernalia and transported them to the Washington County Jail.

On 12 Feb 09 Brandon A. Sparks, age 20, 375 Muskingum River Road, Marietta, suffered an injury to his hand when his glove became stuck in a metal bender at Air Heater Seal at 15710 Waterford Road, Waterford. The Beverly-Waterford Squad transported Mr. Sparks to Marietta Memorial Hospital where he underwent surgery (945).

On 12 Feb 09 Alma Flowers, age 65, 958 Stevens Road, Waterford, reported at 6:30 pm she saw the corner of a storage building on her property was ablaze. Extinguished without causing major damage, Ms. Flowers said no property was damaged during the accidental fire and that she previous planned to tear down the structure (1097).

SEARCH WARRANT EXECUTED AT DRUG HOUSE

On 12 Feb 09 law enforcement officers from the Major Crimes Task Force, Marietta Police Department and Washington County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team executed a search warrant at 109 Washington Street, Marietta after intelligence information indicated the occupants were operating a “drug” house from which heroin and cocaine were being sold. Surveillance indicated a heavy flow of pedestrian traffic into and out of the residence within a short period of time. Arrested was Trent D. Mason, age 20, of the above listed address, for trafficking in heroin. The investigation is continuing and other arrests are anticipated.

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Deanna M. Foreman, age 29, 704 Elm Street Apt. 11, Belpre, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $354.50.

Daniel S. Powell, age 33, 438 W. Main Street, Chillicothe, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,337.70.

Robin J. Richards, age 21, 4076 State Route 339, Belpre, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $325.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Darren Dale Hall, age 24, 194 Davis Road, Waterford, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Hall was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Holbert and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Feb 09 at 12:05 am.

Rodney Eugene White, age 60, 90 Orndoff Road, Stockport, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. White was arrested at his residence by Lt. Gherke of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Feb 09 at 11:50 am.

Susanne Rebekah Wendt, age 21, 840 Pike Street Apt. 37, Marietta, for possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Wendt was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff S. Travaglio and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Feb 09 at 12:15 pm.

Andrew Bradford Russo, age 30, 840 Pike Street Apt. 37, Marietta, for possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Russo was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff S. Travaglio and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Feb 09 at 12:30 pm.

Michael Shawn Williams, age 32, 3995 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta, for driving under an OVI suspended license, a misdemeanor. Williams was arrested on State Route 26 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Feb 09 at 2:04 pm.

Levi James Lake, age 19, Pennock Drive Lot 12, Beverly, for three misdemeanor counts of theft. Lake was arrested at McDonald’s in Beverly by Chief Brockmeier of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Feb 09 at 6:10 pm.

Melissa Ann Bassett, age 39, 109 Washington Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a felony. Bassett was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Thorpe and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Feb 09 at 10:03 pm.

Trent Dwight Mason, age 20, 109 Washington Street, Marietta, for trafficking in drugs, a felony. Mason was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Feb 09 at 10:22 pm.

Daniel Preston Edwards, age 38, 911 Fourth Street, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines and for failure to appear, both misdemeanors. Edwards was arrested at 109 Washington Street by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Feb 09 at 10:36 pm.
