On 8 Feb 09 the Warren Township Fire Department transported a sixteen year old Marietta resident to Marietta Memorial Hospital after she ingested an overdose of Lexapro and Tylenol. The teenager claimed she only took the pills so she could seep but will be evaluated psychiatrically (608).

On 8 Feb 09 Deputy Sheriff S. Travaglio issued a citation to Joel E. Cooke, age 18, 1195 Sandhill Road, Marietta, for having illegal window tint. Noticing Mr. Cooke acting nervously, Deputy Travaglio received permission to search the vehicle and located a small bag of marijuana in a jacket pocket on the vehicle’s front seat. Therefore Deputy Travaglio issued a minor misdemeanor citation to Mr. Cooke for possession of marijuana. The traffic stop occurred on State Route 7 near Electra Avenue in Marietta Township.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Roger Wayne Thomas, age 47, 143 Dale Drive, Mineral Wells, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Thomas was arrested on Greene Street by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Feb 09 at 12:43 am.

Carrie Sue Britton, age 22, 70 Main Street, Waterford, for a warrant for a traffic violation, a misdemeanor. Britton was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Feb 09 at 11:10 am.
