On 26 Jan 09 Don H. Dunfee, age 42, 4625 Federal Road, Little Hocking, received several stitches when he pinched his right hand in the bolt area of his SKS rifle while target shooting. The Little Hocking Fie Department transported Mr. Dunfee to Camden Clark Hospital for treatment (707).

On 26 Jan 09 Michael A. Nunn, age 50, 7895 Veto Road, Belpre, reported an unauthorized individual used his ATM card number in transactions via the internet for a total of nearly $3,000. This case remains under investigation (8411).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Clark Baird Penzien, age 49, 10064 Skiver Road, Traverse City, MI, for driving under a suspended license and for speeding, both misdemeanors. Penzien was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Jan 09 at 5:54 am.

Nicholas Justin Adams, age 19, Walnut Drive, Whipple, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Adams was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Jan 09 at 11:41 am.

Cory David McCullors, age 21, 5 Third Street Apt. 1, Belpre, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. McCullors was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Stackpole of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Jan 09 at 5:22 pm.

Matthew William Dowler, age 44, 798 Mayle Ridge Road, Cutler, for violating the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor. Dowler was arrested on Greene Street by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Jan 09 at 8:55 pm.
