her safety during a dispute with her live-in boyfriend Michael

lying in bed but then Mr. Williams jumped up and drew his fist
back. Ms. Farnsworth said this caused her to believe Mr. Williams

SUSPECT WANTED FOR FELONIOUS
ASSAULT
On 20 Jan 09 Deputy Sheriffs Anderson and
S. Travaglio were dispatched to 1308 Williamson Avenue Apt.
6E. New Matamoras, in response to a domestic assault. Upon
their arrival Kristy G. Cline, age 31, stated she was involved
in an argument with her live-in boyfriend Calvin J. Martin,
age 36, after she asked him to move out of their residence.
Kristy said during the course of the argument Mr. Martin became
increasingly angry and began choking her and twisted her wrist.
Ms. Cline stated that she was able to break away from Martin
and that while attempting to run from him he grabbed a semi-automatic
AK-47 assault rifle and struck her in the back of the head
with the butt-stock. Also threatening to kill Ms. Cline during
the incident, Mr. Martin fled the residence with the rifle
and a .45 caliber handgun. The Deputies recovered the rifle
from the home of a relative of Mr. Martin though Mr. Martin
and the handgun were no where to be found. Ms. Cline, who had
red marks on her neck and bruising on her arm, was transported
to Marietta Memorial Hospital by the New Matamoras Fire Department
for treatment to a large swollen gash on the back of her head.
Unable to locate the suspect, Deputy Anderson requested a warrant
