On 12 Jan 09 Sgt. Underwood and Deputy Sheriff Norman investigated reports that two subjects in the downtown Lowell area were entering vehicles. Finding a truck abandoned with its dome light on and keys in the ignition, the Deputies followed footprints in the snow to a residence on the 200 block of Fourth Street. Speaking to Jericho L. Pugh, age 19, 1490 Pugh Road, Stockport, the Deputies noticed Mr. Pugh wore footwear similar to those tracks they observed in the snow. Pugh had an odor of alcohol and was found in possession of a marijuana cigarette when he was patted down for weapons. Read his rights, Pugh later admitted taking the truck found at the scene from a residence at 176 Third Street, Lowell, and that he drove it around Lowell before abandoning it on the 300 block of Third Street. Arrested for the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, underage consumption, possession of drugs and for possession of drug paraphernalia, Pugh was transported to the Washington County Jail. This afternoon the mother said the juvenile got mad at his nine year old sister, grabbed a butter knife and drew it back in a stabbing motion.
