On 9 Jan 09 Deputy Sheriff Carr requested
summonses for a thirty-seven year old Little Hocking resident
to appear in Municipal Court for domestic violence and for
the suspect’s sixteen year old to appear in Juvenile
Court on a charge of delinquency by domestic violence. Both
parties suffered minor injuries during an altercation that
began after the teenager tracked mud into their house and ended
after the two exchanged blows to the face.
On 9 Jan 09 an employee of White Oak Pharmacy
reported when he viewed security footage for 19 Nov 08 he observed
a shopper remove a medical identification bracelet from its
packaging. The suspect then left the store without paying for
the item. After the suspect entered the store at a later date
the employee obtained a license plate number and identified
the suspect as Kenneth Siders, age 69, 727 Sixth Street, Marietta.
In consequence, Deputy Sheriff Hornbeck requested a summons
for Mr. Siders for theft.
On 9 Jan 09 at 11:45 am Deputy Sheriff S.
Travaglio issued a citation to Aaron L. Winer, age 24, 605
Mount Tom Road, Marietta, operating a vehicle without a license.
Later in the afternoon at 3:00 pm, Deputy Anderson issued Mr.
Winer a citation for the same offense. Mr. Winer received his
first citation on Millers Lane in Marietta Township and his
second citation near Tennis Center Drive in Pioneer Township.
On 9 Jan 09 Deputy Sheriff Thorpe issued a
citation to Shane M. Kovach, age 18, 37390 Tidewater Drive,
Solon, OH, for traveling 77 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Thorpe
stopped Mr. Kovach on State Route 7 near Briggs Hill Road in
Dunham Township.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Larry James Freeland, age 36, for a felony
charge of failing to register a change of address as a registered
sex offender and for misdemeanor charges of contempt of a court
order and failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines. Freeland was picked up at the North Central Regional
Jail by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 9 Jan 09 at 12:10 pm.
Jerry Lee Hess II, age 35, 925 Wiley Street, Belpre, for violating
the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Hess was arrested
at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 9 Jan 09 at 4:27 pm.
Andrea Nicole Greathouse, age 22, 190 Fourth Street, Lowell,
for making a false alarm, a misdemeanor. Greathouse was arrested
at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 9 Jan 09 at 5:15 pm.
Raymond Wayne Delancey, age 22, 713 Briggs Hill Road, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines,
a misdemeanor. Delancey turned himself in to Deputy Sheriff
Carr and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 9
Jan 09 at 5:25 pm.
Charles William Clark, age 31, 5788 Buchanan Road, Waterford,
for nonsupport of dependants, a misdemeanor. Clark was arrested
at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 9 Jan 09 at 7:40 pm.
Nicole Renee Lowers, age 31, 305 Center Street, Beverly, for
theft, a misdemeanor. Lowers was arrested at her residence
by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 9 Jan 09 at 8:45 pm.
Howard Edward Baker, age 37, 323 Seventh Street, Marietta,
for contempt of a court order, a misdemeanor. Baker was arrested
on Pike Street by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
9 Jan 09 at 9:30 pm.
Daniel Arden Keck II, age 42, 407 Edgewood Drive, Marietta,
for kidnapping, rape and for pandering sexually oriented material
involving a minor, all felonies. Keck was arrested at his residence
by Detective Hawkins of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Jan 09 at
11:25 pm.
