On 6 Jan 09 Deputy Sheriff Mankins responded
to a possible domestic dispute at 20250 State Route 60 in Beverly.
Interviewing the involved parties, Deputy Mankins determined
no act of domestic violence transpired but did observe a marijuana
pipe and a mason jar containing several marijuana buds. Donald
B. Webb, age 57, admitted the items were his, was arrested
for possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia
and transported to the Washington County Jail.
On 6 Jan 09 Thomas M. Shaffer, age 50, 817
Masonic Park Road Lot 9, Marietta, reported his son Jacob,
age 21, punched him in the face. A neighbor of the Shaffers
stated he heard the altercation from his residence and said
he could hear Mr. Shaffer screaming for his son to stop hitting
him. Jacob admitted punching his father, saying his dad was
drunk and nitpicking. As a result, Deputy Sheriff S. Travaglio
arrested Jacob for domestic violence and transported him to
the Washington County Jail (508, 805).
On 6 Jan 09 a witness reported between fifteen
and twenty bronze star mounting poles valued at $30 each were
stolen from grave markers at the Decatur Presbyterian Cemetery
between 25 Dec 08 and 1 Jan 09. This case remains under investigation
(608).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Danielle Marie Wourms, age 25, 3795 State
Route 377 SW, Stockport, for two counts of possession of drug
paraphernalia and for two counts of possession of drugs, all
misdemeanors. Wourms was arrested on State Route 7 by Deputy
Sheriff S. Travaglio and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 6 Jan 09 at 12:25 am.
Jamie Lee Clark, age 27, 838 Second Street
Apt. 1, Marietta, for driving under a suspended license, a
misdemeanor. Clark was arrested on Virginia Street by the Ohio
State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 6 Jan 09 at 9:51 pm.
Donald Bruce Webb, age 57, 4379 Nellysville Road, McConnelsville,
for possession of drugs and for possession of drug paraphernalia,
both misdemeanors. Webb was arrested in Beverly by Deputy Sheriff
Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6
Jan 09 at 10:29 pm.
