On 4 Jan 09 Deputy Sheriff Thorpe arrested Matthew T. Berga, age 30, 706 Fifth Street, Belpre, for disorderly conduct by intoxication. Investigating reports of an inebriated individual injecting himself in and out of the roadway, Deputy Thorpe located Mr. Berga in the vicinity of 20000 State Route 550. Mr. Berga stated he was merely out for a walk at 2:10 am and had fallen several times into the roadway. For his safety Mr. Berga was transported to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

John Corbit Holland Jr., age 46, 102 Sacra Via, Marietta, for driving under an FRA suspended license, a misdemeanor. Holland was arrested in New Matamoras by Chief Bourne of the New Matamoras Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Jan 09 at 12:05 am.

Matthew Twain Berga, age 30, 706 Fifth Street, Belpre, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Berga was arrested on State Route 550 by Deputy Sheriff Thorpe and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Jan 09 at 2:45 am.

Jonathan Duchien Le, age 20, 214 F Street, Camp Lejeune, NC, for driving under a suspended license, for speeding and for operating a vehicle with expired plates, all misdemeanors. Le was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Jan 09 at 8:25 am.
