On 2 Jan 09 Jerry Howell, age 37, 1985 Sandhill
Road, Marietta, reported two Dewalt nail guns were stolen from
his truck. Investigating a rumor that his daughter’s
boyfriend took the items, Mr. Howell found one of the tools
at Rinks. Through records kept by the purchaser of the tools,
Deputy Sheriff Hornbeck identified the suspect as the boyfriend
of Mr. Howell’s daughter, Zachary S. Henderhan, age 20,
303 Ingleside Avenue, Marietta. Mr. Henderhan later admitted
to Deputy Hornbeck that he took the two nail guns. As a result,
Deputy Hornbeck arrested Mr. Henderhan for theft and transported
him to the Washington County Jail.
On 2 Jan 09 Traci L. Schwendeman, age 36,
205 Bohl Drive, Marietta, reported while she was away from
her residence for a short time that evening an unknown suspect(s)
entered her home and stole $40, two doses of methadone and
her mobile phone. This case remains under investigation (1184).
On 2 Jan 09 Jonathan Kirk, age 53, 101 Oak
Drive, Little, Hocking, reported after he allowed one of his
neighbors to use his bathroom he noticed approximately sixty
Oxycodone pills missing from his pill bottle in the bathroom’s
medicine cabinet. This case remains under investigation (790).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Daniel Lee Smith, age 34, Route 2 Box 255, New Martinsville,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Smith was picked up at the Morgan County
line by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 2 Jan 09 at 11:28 am.
Zachary Shane Henderhan, age 20, 303 Ingleside Avenue, Marietta,
for theft, a felony. Henderhan turned himself in to Deputy
Sheriff Hornbeck and was processed into the Washington County
Jail on 2 Jan 09 at 4:40 pm.
James Luther Carney Jr., age 56, 211 ½ Second Street,
Beverly, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Carney was arrested at his residence by Probation Officer Willson
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Jan 09 at
3:47 pm.
Candy Kiss Prall, age 31, 417 Florence Street, Belpre, for
contempt of a court order, a misdemeanor. Prall was arrested
at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 2 Jan 09 at 6:08 pm.
Garland D. Randolph III, age 43, 1010 Bethel Road, Marietta,
for nonsupport of dependants, a misdemeanor. Randolph was arrested
at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 2 Jan 09 at 7:22 pm.
