On 1 Jan 08 Daniel Renner, age 42, 1337 Barrett-South
Road, Vincent, reported sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s)
enter his truck and stole his wallet and stole three keys from
his wife’s car. Mr. Renner’s wallet was found nearby,
missing only $11. This case remains under investigation (508).
On 1 Jan 09 Jordin B. Romick, age 19, 112
Acme Street, Marietta, reported while she was at work at the
Par Mar on State Route 821 the previous evening her debit card
was stolen from her purse and used in several transactions
she did not authorize. This case remains under investigation
(1184).
On 1 Jan 09 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued a
citation to Joshua S. Smith, age 29, 54963 Township Road 273,
Reedsville, for driving under a suspended license. Deputy Smeeks
stopped Mr. Smith near milepost two on State Route 7 in Belpre
Township.
On 1 Jan 09 Debra L. Pryor, age 37, 70 Mitchell
Drive, Newport, reported sometime between noon on 31 Dec and
11 pm on 1 Jan an unknown suspect(s) stole approximately eighty
of her hydrocodone pills as well as several rolls of coins.
This case remains under investigation (296).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Terry Lee Bunner, age 42, 35 Sweet Apple Road, Vincent, for
OVI and for driving under a suspended license, both misdemeanors.
Bunner was arrested on Sweet Apple Road by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Jan 09 at
12:10 am.
Charles Edwin Day Jr, age 25, 830 Mount Tom Road, Marietta,
for assault, a misdemeanor. Day was arrested on Front Street
by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Jan 09 at
12:30 am.
Jason Timothy Colby, age 25, Marietta, for felony charges
of being a fugitive from justice and for having a weapon while
under disability and for misdemeanor charges of driving under
a suspended license, possession of drugs and possession of
drug paraphernalia. Colby was arrested on Interstate 77 by
the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 1 Jan 09 at 2:15 pm.
Gina Marie Loy, age 21, 202 Poplar Lane, Marietta, for contempt
for failing to pay fines, a misdemeanor. Loy was arrested on
Front Street by Patrolman Sury of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
1 Jan 09 at 4:52 pm.
