On 15 Dec 08 Deputy Sheriff S. Travaglio issued a citation to Kayla M. Sites, age 23, 69 N. Seventh Street, McConnelsville, for not wearing a seat belt and for failure to obey a traffic control device. Deputy Travaglio stopped Ms. Sites after she failed to stop at a traffic light while traveling northbound on State Route 60 at the intersection of Walnut Street in the village of Lowell.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Matthew James Cornell, age 24, Belpre, for driving under an FRA suspended license and for violating the terms of his probation, both misdemeanors. Cornell was arrested near Kroger in Belpre by Patrolman Williams of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Dec 08 at 2:08 pm.

Tara Lynn Lightfritz, age 45, 714 Hillcrest Street, Parkersburg, for contempt for failing to pay fines, a misdemeanor. Lightfritz was arrested at the Belpre City Police Department by Patrolman William and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Nov 08 at 3:10 pm.

Donald James Covey, age 34, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Covey was arrested in Warner by Deputy Sheriff S. Travaglio and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Dec 08 at 7:38 pm.
