On 7 Dec 08 Brenda T. Pugh, age 60, 315 Pugh Road, Stockport, reported sometime between midnight on 6 Dec and 3 pm on 7 Dec an unknown suspect(s) broke a rear window of the bus she drives for Wolf Creek Local Schools. This case remains under investigation (1097).

On 7 Dec 08 Charus L. Bennett, age 18, 307 Third Street, Lowell, reported his mother’s live-in boyfriend Howard D. Starlin, age 35, arrived home highly intoxicated and was arguing with everyone. In an effort to keep Mr. Starlin from harming his mother if the arguing escalated, Mr. Bennett stepped in front of Mr. Starlin. Mr. Starlin would not clam down and struck Mr. Bennett in the face, leaving him red and swollen under the left eye. Determining no act of domestic violence occurred, Deputy Sheriff Hornbeck arrested Mr. Starlin for assault and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Wesley Joseph Huddleston, age 21, 318 Sixth Street, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Huddleston was arrested on Front Street by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Dec 08 at 2:30 am.

Michelle Lee Thompson, age 34, 4370 Fifteenmile Creek Road, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Thompson was arrested on Seventh Street by Officer Ruble of the Marietta College Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Dec 08 at 3:25 am.

Howard Dwight Starlin, age 35, PO Box 51, Lowell, for assault, a misdemeanor. Starlin was arrested in Lowell by Deputy Sheriff Hornbeck and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Dec 08 at 4:45 am.
