On 1 Dec 08 Mark A. O’Brien, age 51, 25 Hadley Hollow Road, Marietta, reported when a renter vacated his rental property at 7305 State Route 26, Newport, the renter stole a kitchen stove and a wood burning stove from the trailer. This case remains under investigation (296).

On 1 Dec 08 Kari R. Lockhart, age 30, 270 Greenlawn Lane, Lowell, was backing from a parking stall at Mar Ren Apartments when she struck the rear bumper of a 1997 Mercury owned by Sue Bellville, 122 Tennis Center Drive Apt. 25, Marietta. Ms. Lockhart’s 1998 Chrysler and Ms. Bellville’s vehicle both sustained minor damage. Learning Ms. Lockhart’s license was suspended, Deputy Sheriff S. Travaglio issued a citation to Ms. Lockhart for driving under an FRA suspended license.

On 1 Dec 08 David L. Turner, age 53, 4534 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta, reported after he received notice from T-Mobile that his request to open an account was denied he checked his credit report and noticed several attempts to open accounts using his personal information. None of the attempts were successful and Mr. Turner was advised to contact the credit companies to amend his credit report.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Richard Anthony Waters, age 43, Marietta, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Waters was arrested at Quimby’s by Deputy Sheriff S. Travaglio and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Dec 08 at 9:06 pm.

Dawn Katherine Gilliam, age 47, 736 Greene Street Apt. 26, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Gilliam was arrested at the Four Seasons by Patrolman Wenzel of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Dec 08 at 10:56 pm.
