On 26 Nov 08 Lee A. Newbanks, age 26, 7923 Veto Road, Belpre, reported she has been receiving threatening messages from her former boyfriend. Deputy Sheriff Carr determined the messages were innocuous and in some instances Ms. Newbanks initiated contact with her ex-boyfriend. Therefore, Deputy Carr asked both parties to cease contacting each other and closed this case as unfounded.

On 26 Nov 08 an employee of White Oak Pharmacy, 8465 State Route 339, Barlow, reported upon viewing security footage from 24 Nov he observed an unknown male subject stealing a bag of Combos from the store. This case remains under investigation (712).

On 26 Nov 08 a passerby reported finding bags of trash and several tires dumped along the roadway in the vicinity of Sheets Road and Williams Road in Cutler. This case remains under investigation (790).

On 26 Nov 08 Richard L. Thomas, age 51, 3585 Fifteenmile Creek Road, Marietta, reported sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s) removed a generator and a compressor from the bed of his truck. Mr. Thomas estimates the loss to be $1,000. This case remains under investigation (805).

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Brian J. Taggart, age 39, 1133 Market Street, #307, Parkersburg, WV, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $441.00.

Christina L. Cottrille, age 37, 1103 Pike Street, Marietta, OH, for violating the terms of her probation by failing to show proof of completing 24 hours of community service as ordered by the court.

Jeffery D. Miller, age 21, 504 Walnut Street, Belpre, OH, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $465.40.

Ricki L. Stephens, age 22, 707 19th Street, Parkersburg, WV, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $552.50.

Tammy L. Whipkey, age 36, 60 AE Miller Road, Lowell, OH for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $568.50.

Felicia C. Jackson, age 27, 726 ½ Third Street, Marietta, OH, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $111.40.

Clarence O. Jeffers, age 45, 107 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, OH, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $367.90.

Gina M. Loy, age 21, 202 Poplar Lane, Marietta, OH, for, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $604.70.

Adam J. Munson, age 28, 1055 31st Street, Parkersburg, WV, for failure to appear at court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $747.50.

Demosthenes R. Skouzes, age 22, 100 Maple Shade Drive, Marietta, OH, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $757.90.

Bennie L. Woods, age 49, 521 Sawyer Blvd., Apt 811, Columbus, OH, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $838.50.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Jaclyn Marie Barron, age 21, 403 Riverside Drive, Saint Marys, for .17 breath OVI and for driving left of center, both misdemeanors. Barron was arrested near the Putnam Street bridge by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Nov 08 at 2:45 am.

Joshua Dale Harvey, age 21, 1101 Poplar Street, Belpre, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Harvey was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Nov 08 at 11:10 am.

Christopher Corey Griffin, age 24, 52301 Rye Drive, Reedsville, for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Griffin was arrested on State Route 339 in Belpre by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Nov 08 at 2:45 am.

Christopher Dale Reese, age 31, 300 Alderman Street Apt. 5, Belpre, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Parsons was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Nov 08 at 12:19 pm.

William Harris Thayer, age 60, 2600 Glendale Road, Marietta, a fugitive from justice. Thayer was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Nov 08 at 4:00 pm.
