On 22 Nov 08 Deputy Sheriff S. Travaglio issued
a citation to Donald A. O’Brien, age 21, 868 Schott Road,
Waterford, for driving under an FRA suspended license and for
not using a turn signal. Deputy Travaglio stopped Mr. O’Brien
on Washington Boulevard near Lee Street in Belpre.
On 22 Nov 08 an employee of Leslie Equipment,
105 Tennis Center Drive, Marietta, reported sometime overnight
an unknown suspect(s) entered the business and rooted through
desks and drawers in search of items to steal. The employee
said nothing appears missing and that only the ceiling tiles
were damaged when the suspect(s) pulled on wires leading to
the ceiling. This case remains under investigation (610).
On 22 Nov 08 Deputy Sheriff K. Travaglio issued
a citation to Erica M. Harvey, age 23, 10311 State Route 555,
Cutler, for not wearing a seat belt. Deputy Travaglio originally
stopped Ms. Harvey near Braun Road on US 50 in Belpre Township.
On 22 Nov 08 Sarah Babcock, age 43, 12607
State Route 676, Waterford, reported sometime overnight an
unknown suspect(s) shot numerous paintballs which splattered
on the side of her house. This case remains under investigation
(508, 1293).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Ralph Paul Webb Jr., age 50, 2370 Unionville Road, McConnelsville,
for OVI and for driving left of center, both misdemeanors.
Webb was arrested on State Route 339 by Patrolman Hunter of
the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 22 Nov 08 at 1:23 pm.
Deanna Marie Foreman, age 29, 155 Main Street, Vincent, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines,
a misdemeanor. Foreman was arrested near milepost eighteen
on State Route 550 by the Ohio State Highway and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 22 Nov 08 at 12:15 pm.
Peter Grant Hafner, age 19, 205 Gibbons Street Apt. B, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Hafner was picked up in Belpre by Patrolman
Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 22 Nov 08 at 3:20 pm.
Jennifer Marie Hower, age 19, 476 Taft Avenue, Barberton,
OH, for violating the terms of her probation and for failure
to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fine, both misdemeanors.
Hower was picked up in Belpre by Patrolman Ellenwood of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 22 Nov 08 at 3:20 pm.
Brandon Michael Schmidt, age 18, 416 Mulberry Street, Marietta,
for breach of recognizance and for underage consumption of
alcohol, both misdemeanors. Schmidt was picked up in Belpre
by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Nov 08
at 3:20 pm.
Jeffrey Scott Davis, age 38, 270 Millers Lane, Rockport, WV,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Davis turned himself
in to Patrolman Ellenwood at the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Nov 08
at 4:35 pm.
Christopher Shawn Hill, age 37, 857 Southland Cemetery Road,
Cutler, for driving under a suspended license and for driving
outside the marked lanes of travel, both misdemeanors. Hill
was arrested on State Route 550 by Deputy Sheriff K. Travaglio
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Nov 08
at 5:15 pm.
