On 17 Nov 08 Kimberly Harter, age 47, 1624
Hill Street, Belpre, reported she evicted tenants from her
property at 2822 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, on 13 Nov and she
believes the renters returned to the home and caused substantial
damage. Ms. Harter said the renters punched holes in several
walls, cut wires on the outside of the house, caused water
damage and spray painted and tampered with the fuse box. This
case remains under investigation (805).
On 17 Nov 08 Deputy Sheriff Day requested
a summons for Robert D. Armstrong, age 50, 28295 State Route
26, New Matamoras, for allowing his cattle to remain at large.
Several of Mr. Armstrong’s cattle escaped their fencing
on 9 Nov and caused damage to the yard and a newly planted
tree on a nearby property.
On 17 Nov 08 Linda Korn, age 57, 105 Kingman
Road, Marietta, reported she is a teacher at Barlow-Vincent
Elementary School and that sometime while she was at work on
13 Nov, $500 in cash was stolen from her purse. This case remains
under investigation (296).
On 17 Nov 08 Sgt. Stackpole responded to the
scene of death of a fifty-five year old Marietta resident.
The man’s death appears to be natural; no foul play is
suspected.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Robin Dawn Wiley, age 46, 1639 County House
Lane, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a
misdemeanor. Wiley was arrested at the office of Probation
Officer Ferrell and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 17 Nov 08 at 3:25 pm.
Ronnie Edwin Kern Sr., age 44, 313 Blennerhassett Avenue,
Belpre, for driving under a suspended license, for violating
the terms of his probation and for failure to appear at a court
ordered hearing on unpaid fines, all misdemeanors. Kern was
arrested in Belpre by Sgt. Stackpole of the Washington County
Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 17 Nov 08 at 9:06 pm.
Jason Todd Stevens, age 33, 503 Cisler Lane, Marietta, for
violating the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor. Stevens
was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 17 Nov 08 at 10:53 pm.
