On 16 Nov 08 Michael Long, age 49, 1981 Benedict Road, Fleming, reported a Yamaha motorcycle, valued at $3,500, was stolen from behind his residence sometime during the night. This case remains under investigation (608).

On 16 Nov 08 Jamie Zimmer, age 33, 29765 State Route 7, Marietta, reported an argument with her live-in boyfriend Matthew S. Johnson, age 30, began as they drove home from a bar and culminated when Mr. Johnson pushed and slapped her. Questioned by Deputy Sheriff Simmons, Mr. Johnson admitted the couple argued but denied any physical contact occurred. Based on Ms. Zimmer’s statements, Deputy Simmons arrested Mr. Johnson for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Sheldon Dwight Hill, age 25, 11827 State Route 555, Cutler, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Hill was arrested on State Route 550 by Deputy Sheriff K. Travaglio and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Nov 08 at 1:13 am.

Brandon Duane Mayle, age 22, 21345 McGraw Road, Stewart, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Mayle was arrested on State Route 339 by Deputy Sheriff K. Travaglio and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Nov 08 at 1:40 am.

Matthew Scott Johnson, age 30, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Johnson was arrested on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Nov 08 at 3:31 am.
