On 9 Nov 08 Dean B. Ring, age 78, 2727 Gilbert
Avenue NE, Canton, reported when he and his wife arrived at
their summer home at 336 Long Eddy Road, New Matamoras, the
found eight piles of cow manure in their yard. Mr. Ring said
his neighbors cattle escape their fencing quite often and damaged
a sapling he recently planted. This case remains under investigation
(1097).
On 9 Nov 08 Deputy Sheriff Mankins requested
summonses for Christopher Ledger, age 18, 7010 State Route
550, Cutler, and for Grant McClay, age 18, 707 McDonald Road,
Waterford, to appear in Juvenile Court for offenses committed
as juveniles. Deputy Mankins alleges Mr. Ledger took a check
from a friend’s wallet on 10 Jun 08 and after Mr. McClay
forged the endorsement on the back of the check the two cashed
the $20 at Peoples Bank in Marietta.
On 9 Nov 08 Deputy Sheriff Simmons requested
a summons for a sixteen year old Marietta resident to appear
in Juvenile Court on a charge of delinquency by underage consumption
of alcohol. The teenager’s father reported his daughter
was acting strangely when she arrived home after being given
permission to watch a movie with friends. When questioned the
juvenile admitted drinking Mountain Dew mixed with vodka but
would not divulge where she drank the alcohol or who provided
it.

wAS processed into the Washington County Jail:
Carla Anne Grimaldi, age 20, 4894 Clarke Drive,
Stow, OH, for OVI and for speeding, both misdemeanors. Grimaldi
was arrested near milepost three on State Route 821 by the
Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 9 Nov 08 at 3:20 am.
