On 4 Nov 08 Alicia S. Listermann, age 29,
7196 State Route 555, Cutler, reported she was driving on State
Route 555 toward her residence when she noticed her estranged
husband Christopher, age 36, unknown address, was following
her. Ms. Listermann said she has a protection order against
her husband and that he used his truck to force her to pull
to the side of the road near her residence. Along the road
Mr. Listermann approached his wife and repeatedly pleaded for
her to reconcile their relationship and to phone him at a later
time. Questioned by Deputy Sheriff Spencer, Mr. Listermann
said his wife pulled over voluntarily and that he wanted to
console her following the death of her relative. Based on his
investigation, Deputy Spencer arrested Mr. Listermann for violating
the terms of a protection order and transported him to the
Washington County Jail.
On 4 Nov 08 Gary L. Weppler, age 58, 504 Collins
Road, Whipple, reported a toolbox containing various hand tools
and with a value of approximately $2,000 was stolen from behind
his residence sometime after he last saw it on 24 Sep 08. This
case remains under investigation (610).
On 4 Nov 08 a forty-eight year old employee
at RHF, 700 BF Goodrich Road, Marietta, suffered two deep lacerations,
both two inched in length, on the top of his head. The employee
incurred injury when a hoist malfunctioned and caused a metal
bracket to fall from a height of ten feet. The Oak Grove Fire
Department transported the victim to Marietta Memorial Hospital
for treatment (232).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
James Lee Way, age 38, 816 Luke Chute Road,
Waterford, for a felony charge of failure to appear and for
a misdemeanor charge of theft. Way was picked up at the Airway
Corrections Center in Spokane, WA by Deputy Sheriff Underwood
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Nov 08 at
1:18 am.
Shawn Anthony Updegrave, age 22, 6905 Sharp
Ridge Road, McConnelsville, for driving under an OVI suspended
license, for having an inoperable license plate light and for
not wearing a seat belt, all misdemeanors. Updegrave was arrested
on State Route 7 near Millers Lane by Deputy Sheriff K. Travaglio
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Nov 08 at
11:41 pm.
