On 3 Nov 08 Irvin O. Stokes, age 79, 372 Brownsville Road, New Matamoras, reported while he was running errand between noon and 2 pm that afternoon an unknown suspect(s) broke into his home by forcing open the front door. Mr. Stokes believes the only item missing from his home is a prescription bottle of Vicodin he recently filled. This case remains under investigation (695).

On 3 Nov 08 Karyn J. Blanchard, age 21, 13189 State Route 550, Fleming, reported her debit card and a credit card were stolen from her purse sometime after she last remembered using them on 24 Oct. This case remains under investigation (695).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Jodie Lynn Grimes, age 27, 100 Sandpiper Village Apt. G, Saint Marys, for violating the terms of her probation and for failure to appear, both misdemeanors. Grimes was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff Reeder and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Nov 08 at 2:35 pm.

Carl Edward Porter, age 26, 2407 Hanvey Avenue, Belpre, for tampering with drugs, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors. Porter was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Thorpe and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Nov 08 at 3:20 pm.

Duane Franklin Perdue, age 49, 270 Greene Street, Newport, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Perdue was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Thorpe and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Nov 08 at 7:08 pm.
