On 25 Oct 08 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued
a citation to Jessica A. Guthridge, age 20, 8455 Daisywood
NE, North Canton, for traveling 81 mph in a 60 mph zone. Deputy
Smeeks stopped Ms. Guthridge near milepost two on State Route
7 in Belpre Township.
On 25 Oct 08 Chad A. Baker, age 37, 130 Harvest
Run Road, Marietta, reported a Kodak digital camera was stolen
from his residence at some point during the past three days.
This case remains under investigation (608).
On 25 Oct 08 Richard B. Noland, age 53, 5625
State Route 676, Stockport, reported shortly after he returned
to his residence from a birthday party a male subject arrived
at his home and assaulted him. Apparently upset that Mr. Noland
caused a scene and made his young daughter cry at the party
that afternoon, Robert B. Shotwell, age 31, 5530 State Route
339, Vincent, accosted Mr. Noland. When Mr. Noland asked Mr.
Shotwell to leave and said he was phoning for help Mr. Shotwell
grabbed Mr. Noland and repeatedly struck him in the head. Interviewed
after being identified by his license plate number, Mr. Shotwell
admitted confronting Mr. Noland but denied and physical contact
occurred. Based on statements and viewing Mr. Noland’s
injuries, Deputy Sheriff Hornbeck arrested Mr. Shotwell for
aggravated trespassing and assault and transported him to the
Washington County Jail.
On 25 Oct 08 Deputy Sheriffs Richards and
Smeeks responded to the scene of death of a sixty-five year
old Marietta resident. The woman’s death appears natural;
no foul play is suspected.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Tina Louise Riley, age 45, 9260 South River Road, McConnelsville,
for OVI, possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia
and for driving outside the marked lanes of travel, all misdemeanors.
Riley was arrested in Beverly by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Oct 08
at 1:40 am.
Jacob Martin Asbell, age 20, 237 Wooded Way, State College,
PA, for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Asbell
was arrested on the campus of Marietta College by Officer Weaver
of the Marietta College Police Department and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 25 Oct 08 at 2:20 am.
Kimberly Ann Donnadio, age 49, 10 Glenellen Avenue, Youngstown,
OH, for OVI and for speeding, both misdemeanors. Donnadio was
arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Oct 08
at 5:05 pm.
Robert Braxton Shotwell, age 31, 5530 State Route 339, Vincent,
for aggravated trespassing and assault, both misdemeanors.
Shotwell was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Underwood of
the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 25 Oct 08 at 5:20 pm.
