On 19 Oct 08 a caretaker for St. Patrick’s Cemetery in New Matamoras reported sometime between 13 and 18 Oct vandals pushed over and damaged several headstones. This case remains under investigation (1184).

On 19 Oct 08 a forty-four year old Lowell resident reported her sixteen year old daughter refuses to obey house rules and left the home that afternoon following an argument. The juvenile later returned to the home and agreed to try to modify her behavior. At this time the girl’s mother did not want to pursue the matter further (1020).

On 19 Oct 08 a witness reported observing two males firing weapons into a field across from 41 Dunn Lane in New Matamoras at 2:50 am. The witness said the two subjects exited a vehicle, fired shots from a shotgun and a handgun, ran back to their vehicle and drove away in a car. This case remains under investigation (500).
