On 14 Oct 08 Deputy Sheriff K. Travaglio requested
a summons for a thirteen year old Little Hocking resident to
appear in Juvenile Court on a charge of delinquency by assault.
The teenage allegedly threw a rock and struck his fifteen year
old neighbor in the nose. When Deputy Travaglio advised the
juvenile it was not wise to throw rocks he replied saying that
he should have used his fists.
On 14 Oct 08 an anonymous caller reported
witnessing the driver of a red pickup truck throwing beer cans
and papers out his window while on State Route 550. Identifying
the driver by his license plate, Lt. Huffer questioned Fleddie
D. Walls, age 63, 105 Ray Street, Marietta. Though he first
denied it Mr. Walls admitted throwing the debris from his vehicle
while he was cleaning out his truck. As a result, Lt. Huffer
requested a summons for Mr. Walls for littering.
On 14 Oct 08 Lt. Canavan issued a citation
to Robert E. Hall, age 28, 1133 Market Street Apt. 208, Parkersburg,
for operating without a license. Lt. Canavan stopped Mr. Hall
on State Route 7 near Blue Knob Road in Warren Township.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Justin Michael Devaughn, age 26, 540 Lang
Farm Road, Marietta, for driving under a suspended license,
a misdemeanor. Devaughn turned himself in to Deputy Sheriff
O’Brien and was processed into the Washington County
Jail on 14 Oct 08 at 7:47 am.
Richard William Wilson, age 23, 1133 Swann
Street, Parkersburg, for assault, a misdemeanor. Wilson was
arrested at the Marietta City Police Department by Patrolman
Thomas and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14
Oct 08 at 10:42 am.
