On 13 Oct 08 Gary E. Antill, age 54, 555 Mount Tom Road, Marietta, reported sometime after midnight that morning an unknown suspect(s) pried the hasp off the door of his storage building and stole a chainsaw, a weedeater and a tackle box. This case remains under investigation (107).

On 13 Oct 08 Trish L. Scott, age 40, 4755 Waterford Road, Marietta, reported thirteen of her Ambien pills were missing and she believes they were stolen sometime the previous day. This case remains under investigation (792).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Derek Douglas Oldfield, age 23, 27400 State Route 7 Lot 50, Marietta, for burglary, a felony. Oldfield was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Oct 08 at 4:09 pm.

April Kathleen Boggs, age 30, 51485 Township Road 43, Long Bottom, for two felony counts of passing bad checks. Boggs was picked up at the Athens county line by Sgt. Brockmeier of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Oct 08 at 6:52 pm.

Shaun Michael Mentzer, age 27, 106 Riley Drive Apt. 9, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Mentzer was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Newell of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Oct 08 at 9:05 pm.
