On 8 Oct 08 Bruce W. Morgan, age 54, 1697
Welch Road, Cutler, reported two Stihl weed eaters were stolen
from a storage building on his property sometime during the
past two months. This case remains under investigation (232).
On
8 Oct 08 Rodney W. Nething, age 42, 29465 State Route 7,
Marietta, reported upon checking his bank statement
he noticed debits for fifteen checks he did not write. Stating
his monetary loss is in excess of $2,000, Mr. Nething said
he did not know when they checks were stolen or who took
them. This case remains under investigation (200).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Jason W. Allman, age 26, 144 Murdoch Avenue
Apt. 1, Parkersburg, for illegally disposing of litter on Darnold
Road on 25 Aug 08.
Joseph A. Bailey, age 45, 126 State Route 555, Vincent, for
driving under a suspended license on 13 Sep 08.
Ronald R. Bailey, age 45, 535 Rummer Road, Marietta, for failure
to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the
sum of $578.50.
Steven M. Barnhart, age 34, 265 Tick Ridge Road, Vincent,
for violating the terms of a protection order on 20 Sep 08.
Justin M. Devaughn, age 26, 54 Lang Farm Road, Marietta, for
driving under a suspended license on 13 Sep 08.
Michael A. Holton, age 18, 4661 Staunton Turnpike, Davisville,
WV, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $318.50.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Eric Brent Dickinson, age 45, 310 Hague Avenue,
for failure to appear, a felony. Dickinson was picked up at
the Franklin County Jail by Deputy Sheriff Reeder and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 8 Oct 08 at 3:00 pm.
Jack Jay Sloter, age 48, 4372 Dixon Ridge Road, Lowell, for
receiving stolen property, a felony. Sloter was arrested at
his residence by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 8 Oct 08 at 7:05 pm.
Billy Allen Babcock, age 32, 165 Killwell Run Road, Marietta,
a fugitive from justice. Babcock was arrested at his residence
by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 8 Oct 08 at 11:15 pm.
