On 5 Oct Fredrick M. Woollard, age 42, 776
Luke Chute Road Lot 5, Waterford, reported being assaulted
by his wife Anna, age 41. Mr. Woolard said they had been arguing
throughout the night and Mrs. Woollard would not allow him
to enter the residence. As he attempted to get through the
doorway Mr. Woollard said his wife bit him in the shoulder.
Later, as he tried reconnecting the phone his wife unplugged,
Mr. Woollard said his wife threw a cordless phone and struck
him in the head. Viewing Mr. Woollard’s injuries, Deputy
Sheriff Smeeks arrested Mrs. Woollard for domestic violence
and transported her to the Washington County Jail.
On 5 Oct 08 Daniel T. Reese III, age 50, 12590
State Route 550, Fleming, reported he may have been involved
in a domestic dispute with a family member. Mr. Reese said
he received no injuries and did not want to pursue the matter.
Deputy Sheriff Thorpe confirmed with the other family member
that the dispute was only verbal and closed this case as unfounded.
On 5 Oct 08 Sgt. Stackpole and Deputy Sheriff
K. Travaglio responded to a possible domestic dispute at 12280
Veto Road, Marietta. Interviewing all of the family members
present, the Deputies determined no threat or act of domestic
violence occurred.
On 5 Oct 08 Deputy Sheriff Norman issued a
citation to Grant F. Augustine, age 23, 18 Cambridge Road,
Irwin, PA, for failure to obey a traffic control device. Deputy
Norman stopped Mr. Augustine after he failed to stop when turning
from the southbound ramp at exit on Interstate 77 onto State
Route 821 in Muskingum Township.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Donald William Paisley, age 34, 1618 Wetzler Road, Lower Salem,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Paisley was arrested
at his residence by Deputy Sheriff McLeish and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 5 Oct 08 at 12:03 am.
Anna Mae Woollard, age 41, 776 Luke Chute Road Lot 5, Waterford,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Woollard was arrested
at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Smeeks and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 5 Oct 08 at 2:53 am.
Cynthia Ann Bell, age 53, 100 Simpson Street, Marietta, for
failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Bell was arrested at her
residence by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 5 Oct 08 at 11:21 am.
Brandon Douglas Thornhill, age 28, 1055 31st Street, Parkersburg,
for violating the terms of his parole, a felony. Thornhill
was arrested on Park Drive by Patrolman Augenstein of the Belpre
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 5 Oct 08 at 3:19 pm.
Stacy Ray Robinson Jr., age 21, 4150 Sugar Run Road, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Robinson was arrested on Pike Street
by Patrolman Hively of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Oct 08 at
7:11 pm.
