On 30 Sep 08 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Robert J. Perry, age 38, 3010 Cats Creek Road,
Lowell, for improper display of license plates. Deputy Mankins
stopped the Subaru Mr. Perry was driving on State Route 60
near Big Run Road after noticing the registration sticker belonged
to a commercial dump truck. Owned by another individual, the
vehicle was impounded and the license plate seized as evidence.
The theft of the registration sticker remains under investigation.
On 30 Sep 08 a fifty year old Little Hocking
resident reported her fifteen year old granddaughter, of whom
she has custody, was violently and obscenely lashing out at
her. Upset over the fact that she may not be able to purchase
the homecoming dress she wanted, the juvenile began yelling
profanities and kicked her grandmother several times. Even
when Deputy Sheriff K. Travaglio arrived the teenager continued
her invective shouts. As a result of the incident Deputy Travaglio
requested a summons for the teenager to appear in Juvenile
Court on a charge of delinquency by domestic violence.
On 30 Sep 08 Tracey Lemley, age 30, 813 Congress
Road, Belpre, reported while he was at work and his wife was
at school between 1 pm and 5 pm an unknown suspect(s) entered
his home and stole a Playstation 2 and five games. This case
remains under investigation (805).
On 30 Sep 08 Stanley L. Barker, age 50, 14761
State Route 555, Bartlett, reported bottles of his prescriptions
for Dilaudid and methadone were stolen from his living room
coffee table while he and his wife were away from their residence
that morning. This case remains under investigation (592).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Geoff Austin Urbaniak, age 19, 428 Strecker Lane, Marietta,
for theft, a felony. Urbaniak was arrested on Phillips Street
by Patrolman Caldwell of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Sep 08
at 7:05 am.
Kenneth Justin Walters, age 21, 706 Ninth Street, Marietta,
for theft, a felony. Walters was arrested on Phillips Street
by Patrolman Caldwell of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Sep 08
at 7:20 am.
Brandon Scott Walters, age 25, 715 Greene
Street Apt. A, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation,
a felony. Walters was arrested at the office of Probation Officer
Gault and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Sep
08 at 9:35 am.
Eric Wayne Nutter, age 43, 480 Rummer Road, Marietta, for
sexual imposition, public indecency and for disorderly conduct
by intoxication, all misdemeanors. Nutter was arrested at the
Marietta City Police Department by Patrolman Gragan and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 30 Sep 08 at 1:15 pm.
